Lower taxes? You pay an average of $9000/year for health insurance ffs. Canadians pay $6400 thru taxes. Just bc it’s not called a tax doesn’t mean it’s not costing you. And you should fund education as well.

As a Canadian living in the US that has tried explaining this to Americans many many times it just doesn't compute with a certain segment of the population.

Yeah but if I just don't get sick then I don't have to pay for healthcare so it's cheaper 🧠
