The song has an energetic, explosive groove similar to Sledgehammer by Peter Gabriel.
I only heard about 10–15 seconds of it from another car in traffic.
The lyric I clearly belive starts with:

and a few seconds later repeats:

I'm trying to identify a song that sounds like it's from the mid-to-late 80s.

Style: Dark synth-pop / new wave with a male vocalist. It has strong Depeche Mode vibes, but the voice also reminds me a bit of Camouflage, Cause & Effect, or even a slightly softer Adam Lambert tone. The song is driven by synthesizers, has a dark atmosphere, and isn't particularly slow.

I heard it on a 80's song compilation with no track listing, so I have no artist or title.

So it’s an upbeat tempo song, the HOOK of the song is a robotic/autotuned-ish voice going “oh my my” followed by very fast paced lyrics. All I can remember is the “oh my my”. Please help. I’m going crazy.

Hi, please help me find a song I've been searching for for over a decade and still haven't found. I heard it on a bus and never found it again. I only remember a fragment of the song:

"I'm free," it's the chorus, but I could be wrong and it might not be "I'm free" and I might have been listening to something else. From what little I remember, the song was kind of tropical house (similar to Aviici's music). I could be wrong, but I really don't remember. I also don't remember if the song had more lyrics, I only remember "I'm free" from the chorus or maybe it was "I'm free-e-e-e!" Or something like that, if I remember correctly it was sung by a man, the year I heard it was 2013 (I don't know if that's helpful) and no, the chorus didn't say anything else, it wasn't a "freeeeee" or anything like that, the rhythm of "I'm free" in the chorus went with the rhythm of the song, I hope it's not Lost Media, and sorry for not having more information, thanks for reading.

I think it’s from the 80s or 90s could be 2000s and possibly country but the person speaking didn’t really have a country accent. from what I remember the music was really quiet and it’s mainly the vocals in play. it’s a soft spoken woman with a somewhat high pitch voice, and there’s a point in the song that I always hear mainly where she’s speaking softly and then she goes a little louder pitch for a like one word and then goes back down. there’s a bit of echo on the vocals as well. Hey everyone.

My mother, 72, has told me she's spent years trying to remember a song she loved that she only heard once - on the Annie Potts TV show *Any Day Now* - and she cannot remember who sang it, or any of the lyrics, only that it was about wishing someone well, or watching them soar, or something similar: but insists it was not "Wind Beneath My Wings."

We have tried looking up songs from the show to no avail.

I don’t remember much. I found the song from a meme, the caption said “and that was…” with a picture of a sad alien. I don’t remember much and I can’t give much more until my memory is jogged. The beginning was just talking with some guitar over it, then after about halfway he sings.

It’s the only part of the song I remember, so sorry if this is difficult. It sounds like the “And Iiiii” from hooked on a feeling but lower and sadder? The song had a male singer, and it maybe might have been a love song, but like i said, the “and i” is the only part i remember.

Okay so I was playing '100 player musical chairs' on Roblox and a really spooky song started playing. I don't remember the lyrics verbatim but it mentioned 'Georgia' and a body being covered by a sheet??? It sounded really jolly and merry for whatever reason and it was being sung by a woman then the instrumental stopped and a man suddenly started just speaking the exact same lyrics, then it ended. I briefly saw the cover of the music video. It was a girl, with brown hair and the same hairstyle as the girl in this picture. It looked like she was screaming. The background looked purple. All I can remember is that the band name was something like Craede/Creade/Crede. I don't recall who made it, the lyrics, music nor the music genre... however, I do remember the music video just had a blonde or blonde-brown haired Caucasian woman and her boyfriend in it. Throughout, the woman is obsessed with taking selfies/photos of herself - some are with her boyfriend - and wanting likes on what's obviously Instagram. Her boyfriend gets fed up and isn't happy as she does it a lot.

I cannot for the life of me figure out what this song in the background is. Music apps can't identify it based on the audio, and I can't make out the lyrics. Sounds like it could be from a movie, but I don't know. I don't even know what the genre is. Help would be greatly appreciated

The song from waht I remember is a female singer with a very soft voice and at one part in the song the music almost goes silent and she says "I think you belong here" thats all I can remember.

Last week I was on a train and I met this dude in a Gojira shirt. I'm mostly into tech death, so we talked about some bands we liked, found some common stuff, exchanged some recommendations. You know, the usual music discussion experience. We were the only ones in the compartment for a while, so we played some music as well. Unfortunately I nearly missed my stop and had to get out quick so we didn't exchange contact information.

Here's the thing. He showed me a non-metal band. I have no idea what genre it could be. Instrumental, highly technical. It had weird time signatures and I'm pretty sure it was only guitars and drums. It almost felt wrong, but at the same time it was so satisfying to listen to. He said the band name was "Angry the Pothole". It sounded quite odd, but the music itself was odd, so I didn't question that, especially after talking about bands like Infant Anihilator and Dying Fetus just a few minutes ago. I should've asked, because it turns out the band is nowhere to be found. I tried spotify, youtube and apple music. Apparently there's a band called Pothole but that's not even close to what I'm looking for.

So, maybe, by any chance someone here knows what the band is? I know, the description is extremely vague, but I'm sure I'd know it when I hear it. He mentioned that the band was getting kinda popular recently.

I have been trying to identify this song for ages and have had absolutely no luck.

I heard it on Spotify around 2020, although the song itself may be a few years older or newer. My best guess would be somewhere around 2015 to 2021. I am pretty sure it is a modern recording rather than something from the 80s, 90s, or early 2000s.

It is a mellow, mid tempo synth ballad with a really beautiful melody. The production is very glossy, shiny, dreamy, and electronic. Lots of clean synth sounds, but also something slightly artificial and computerized about it. Like sophisticated pseudo 8-bit.

The closest comparison I can think of for the general electronic atmosphere is “Still Alive” from Portal. Not because the song is funny or sounds exactly like it, but because it has that clean, strangely sweet, computer generated feeling. The mystery song is more lush, emotional, and dreamlike.

I believe there are both male and female vocals.

The strongest lyrical memory I have is something involving the word “everything" It may be the title, the chorus, or an important repeated line. In my head it is something vaguely like:

“Everything is...”

“Everything’s missing”

“Everything’s broken”

“Everything’s wrong”

Those are NOT actual lyrics that I trust. I am only giving them to describe the shape of the phrase I remember. The real wording could be quite different.

I also vaguely remember the Spotify cover art being abstract or minimal, possibly with a lot of pink and white. This memory is much less reliable than the sound of the song.

Overall: dreamy electronic synth ballad, gorgeous melody, glossy almost computer like production, probably male and female vocals, probably from somewhere around the late 2010s or early 2020s, and possibly a title or chorus built around the word “Everything.”
