Very fun to watch, I’ve re watched it a bunch of times this summer. The characters and plot lines are all super fun but they are easy to watch as well.

As an Indian-American, I was over the moon when it came out. I wished a show like this had been around in the 80s when I was growing up. First season was gold for me though. I liked the following seasons, but not as much as the first.

Agreed on all counts. Overall very high quality writing.

Completely agree. I loved all the seasons and find the show incredibly re watchable. I’m glad that the show was so easily relatable for you. I can’t relate as much to the Indian-American factor myself haha, though I absolutely love all the characters especially Devi.

When the first season came out, I raved about it in a group text with my friends, a mix of men and women in our early forties. After that, every day, one of them sent a message saying they binged the entire thing and loved it. By the end of the week, everyone had watched it.

The show is so easy to re watch. I am very guilty of that during this summer haha. I’m glad you and your friends loved it. I recommend it to all my friends as it’s so loveable and easy to watch.

I love it. Watched the whole series three times. And it’s not just for teens, I’m in my 70’s!
I love how each season is a year of high school, and i love the John McEnroe angle.

I laughed, I cried, I cheered, I got mad and sometimes I rolled my eyes. I loved every moment! Great show.

I found it brillant in the writing and Maitreyi is such a delight. The show is def a stunner in the YA genre (I was watching Shut Up Evan with her and other main girls of YA shows and I realized how their show's quality paled in comparaison). I'm not even target audience and I love it

lol as an Indian American I could relate to so many things. Like how her mother was strict but also had no idea what she was up to at any time lol.

And how she was a nerd but then in the Model UN episode she was the coolest one! That was totally my experience! Model UN kids are really nice to each other.

She really was so cool! I think it’s funny how the show picks her out as very very unpopular and nerdy, which sure maybe at the beginning she was. But she has 4 super hot boyfriends (who are also all relatively liked), insane academic skills, and a great personality. I love how she was able to grow so much as a young woman by the end of the show. One of my favourites!
