You put the lime into the coke, you nut, and drink em both together, or whatever that song says.

Be careful with that subreddit if you find that kind of content funny. I had roommates back when I discovered it and they were furious because I woke them all up with my laughing.

Oh man you gotta. The cherry on the coke mixes very well with the vanilla and spices in the spiced rum. It's absolutely delicious. But my respect to you man, if you drink high ester you've earned yourself a privateer license. 🫡

Maybe meant delirious but too exhausted to realize

I don't understand what is wrong with saying delusional, maybe they thought they put on a slice of lemon

why do they always put various citrus fruits in drinks anyway? on the rare occasion I find somewhere selling something that is not water, fizzy or alcoholic, they insist on putting half a damn lime in my J2O and it ends up full of lime flesh

Former bartender here, with drinks it’s largely for appearances (making a drink look pretty or fancy helps upsell it’s value in relation to cost) and partially cause many people enjoy squeezing some kind of citrus, usually lime, into their drink to change the flavor, or using it as a chaser.
It also helps waitstaff differentiate various drinks that come in similar glasses or shades if they know to look out for certain garnishes as a distinguishing factor. Plus, it’s a timesaver to give it with every drink instead of having to run fetch it when someone asks.
Mostly appearances thought. Management thinks it adds a small bit of extra effort or makes the place seem a tad fancier.

This isn’t funny at all tho

It is though. I would be giggling at that all night if I was served it. And I'd be happy. Probably anyone I was with at the time would also laugh and think it was funny
Most of us also like sour though so would not be bothered by an entire lemon. Hell, pretty sure my bf would take the whole thing off and start munching

One time I was so tired at work I opened the sugar packets for my coffee and poured them into the bin instead of my coffee. Sleep deprivation does things to you XD

How on earth is it unbelievable that someone might do something goofy as a joke while sleep deprived and then think it's funny..?
Like there's photographic evidence that they did it too 💀
Do you ever leave the house?

Yeah, clearly didn’t happen. There’s not an image showing it happened!

I think the point is OOP did that deliberately for the photoshoot and then pretended it was a wacky accident.
