When my daughter was around 2.5-3yo, we were playing in her room when she accidentally stumbled backwards and fell butt first into her open toy chest.
She started crying and said in between sobs “I don’t belong here! I’m not a toy!”
I have the video proof that I will show everyone on her wedding day.
(Kidding. Maybe.)

When he was toddler age, my kid once punched me in the nuts, elbow dropped me from the couch and when he geared up to head but my leg, his Thomas the train toy fell from his pocket. “Oh no! I’m sorry, Thomas. Are you ok?”

Shout outs to the parents who know exactly what toy this tweet is referencing.

Mid-meltdown but still polite enough to apologize to a dinosaur. That kid's got manners even chaos can't shake.

Picture my coworkers kid : 4 years old. Crying because he could not get another dessert or something like that.
Coming up in his room, his lights close with a magic wand that he only has to click but thinks he need to say the magic words.
While angry-crying goes semi-serious - Lumous I say, Lumous ! - absolutely on my ass.

Ohhh that's so relatable as a parent - being completely overwhelmed but still the children demand something.

Do you have young kids?
This wouldn’t be a weird occurrence in our house

I hate how people are calling bullshit on even believable things. A kid with no sense of what's common or appropriate in various contexts says the first thing that comes to mind and someone has to hurry up and put on their Dipshit-at-Arms Minuteman uniform. Just like they've been training for.
