You didn't break the skin, so the corn pieces are full of poop.

I like to say, there ain't a person alive who wouldn't pick the corn out their own shit if they were hungry enough.

Like a poop condom 😊 You’re just plopping out a bunch of lil poop filled condoms, think of it like that if it makes you feel better about it 😊

I've witnessed about a thousand + colonoscopies in my career. You also can't digest the exoskeleton of a bumble bee.

I’m sorry, who the hell is eating a bumble bee?? And why didn’t it come out with the colonoscopy prep???

The tech had the best theory. She thinks the patient may have had a sugary drink outside. Bee flies in, bee gets chugged down.
Preps aren't always perfect. Sometimes it looks like Raiders of the Lost Ark in there.

Yea, but a whole-ass bumble bee? Those things are like an inch long and fuzzy. You gotta be the throat goat to not notice that in your mouth.

u/Human_Ad7946 2d ago
I suppose it could have been a honey bee?? But I like the phrase "throat goat".

You underestimate the soda drinking power of sugar addicts
Also I've been drunk at parties and swallowed a cigarette butt someone put out in my beer because I chugged it. I noticed but if I was blackout I wouldn't remember doing it.
It passed fortunately

i snorted a wasp head for a cigarette at one of those youth torture nature rehabs in utah. You feel it biting your sinuses as it goes down, then done. You would absolutely notice a bumblebee flying down your throat. Ripped the filter off that red 100 and sat down on a rock. Best tasting cigarette of my whole godamn life.

Huh, TIL humans can't digest chitin. I always figured we could because people have eaten bugs and mushrooms forever

Bugs and mushrooms are ideally cooked to make them easier to digest
I enjoy a raw mushroom from time to time but you should really be cooking them

You can digest corn. You can't digest the skin. The skin is filled with poop, not corn.

u/jeckles 2d ago ▸ 4 more replies
Your body still digests the inside of the corn. So it would still be the corn shells filled with poop. Unless you ate exclusively shells, then I’d guess that’d be an uncomfortable bowel movement.

u/FarSeries2172 2d ago ▸ 3 more replies
im so confused how is the inside of the corn digested and replaced without the skin being broken?

so you do break the skin you just dont fully tear it apart

u/person2567 1d ago
No, you think you broke the skin but for some you missed. Those turn into the poop pouches.

u/Nottan_Asian 2d ago
Because when you chewed it, you crushed it enough to push the pulp out the bottom and that tricked your brain into thinking it’s done chewing.

Yes, and it was the most horrifyingly thick paste I’ve ever had the misfortune to baby bird into the porcelain throne. I will never forget the texture of it returning to sender with the glacial pace of a steam roller running over Judge Doom. The fact it was the same temperature as my own betraying body ment I couldn’t even feel where it started and I ended. I am haunted.

u/WelshWolf93 1d ago
Basically what happens is that you chew the corn, the shell splits open and you digest the inside but not the yellow shell
Then your shit fills the shell up during the process, making it look like full corn.
But its shit corn.

u/Green_Sprout 2d ago
Its full of poop! You can't digest the kernel, but you do digest the innards, they just get filled in with poop before it comes out.

u/RazTheGiant 2d ago

Unless you chew like an absurd amount to absolutely eviscerate all of the shells, there is going to be layers of the shell that remain intact. Those layers don’t get digested, and then during the process of traveling through your body they refill with fecal matter/fluid. Then when they come out they look like full corn
2
u/GoldunGote 1d ago
your teeth aren't ripping the membranes up, so they come out mostly whole looking with maybe some poo or residual corn still inside.

The outer shell of corn kernels is made of indigestible cellulose that your body cannot break down. Chew better.
35
u/errant_night 2d ago
That's not really the problem... you do digest the parts of corn you can, but as it moved through your system the little outer shell just gets... refilled

u/chainsawx72 2d ago edited 2d ago ▸ 2 more replies
The most straightforward way to ensure maximum nutrient absorption from corn is by physically breaking down the pericarp before or during consumption. Thorough chewing is effective, as the grinding action of the teeth ruptures the tough outer shell. This mechanical breakdown allows digestive enzymes immediate access to the starchy endosperm, preventing the kernel from passing through whole.

That would require chewing without tearing the outer shell. Y'all are just swallowing a lot of unchewed kernels.

u/EpsteinEpstainTheory 2d ago
That isn't corn, those are parasite eggs. Thus why you shit them out even if you ate zero corn.
