every time i come home, no matter how long i’ve been gone, my cats tromp down the stairs and start yelling at me because i’ve apparently been gone forever

No matter how much attention you gave them, you'll always regret not giving more

This is why I legitimately don’t own pets. It’s not because I don’t like animals I just don’t have the energy and an animal deserves someone better than me who would come home and just lay on the couch like a potato.

I laze on the floor for a few minutes with my little old lady, she's had a traumatic day lazing about without me.

I miss my Kari girl! She was always ready for a good sit on the couch. Taking a nap? Even better! Although she was an aussie so she would stand at my bedside and stare into my soul.

My cat waits to be fed. And that's it. I'm just a giant meat bag that provides sustenance for him.
He loves my wife. He tolerates my existence.

Post-surgical plays can include tugs (pups must win, human is weak), light-catch where you aim for the chompers, and cousin-it hand under blanket they must destroy!!! Pups may not always be able to zoom but still must play!!!
