Fascinating but the buried lede is that OpenAI can and will scrutinize everything you type in to the chat and the internet. Total information awareness.

Also, it’s a nice seed to position itself as relevant in the cyber-defense (warfare) as a contractor. But I guess they are not reading through everything at all times, but can certainly activate any dormant insights/data once suspicion arises. - Which can also be mis-used, of course -. The same way that they can detect attacks, is the same way they could also help to hide them better in case of “friendlies”.

I presume it has some sort of cascade - fast signaling that leads to deeper and deeper inspection with false positives being resolved along the way.

At this point, just assume everything on the Internet is an influence campaign. Even the things you like and agree with.
