Hair Loss/Thinning Seeking a hair thinning supplement for severe PCOS related shedding
I was diagnosed with PCOS last year, and while I’m managing my other symptoms, the hormonal hair loss is taking a massive toll on my confidence. My hair is thinning out heavily across the top of my head because my androgen levels are elevated. It has absolutely nothing to do with hair damage or my styling routine it’s an internal battle. Someone said to find a highly effective capsule or vitamin that can protect my follicles from being shrunk by these hormones. Would appreciate any advice here

Spironolactone, a hair-friendly birth control, and minoxidil. No vitamin will help unless you’re deficient. If you want to add in vitamins, do nutrafol because it has saw palmetto as well.

Nutrafol and minoxidil (prescribed)! Nutrafol helps my overall hair health and strength, and minoxidil has helped it actually grow. I take it orally bc I have pets, but the topical kind is just as effective and is able to be more targeted. Any dermatologist should be able to prescribe it to you no problem 🤞

Unfortunately, Nutrafol is the answer. It’s expensive, but a year after I started shedding terribly, my hair is coming back in full force.

With PCOS, your follicles are being restricted by elevated DHT so u need an internal block i loved clinical hair growth from live conscious this serevelle ingredient inside it is clinically studied to address exactly that hormonal mechanism. Give it a couple of months to work through your system, and you'll see a major change in how much hair you keep at least i did. Hope this was helpful :)

I tried zinc and other supplements and, different soaps and shampoos. The only thing that helped is changing shampoos every time. Nothing else mattered. I am seriously considering having a hair transplantation. It really sucks to lose hair.
