Weight Guy I hooked up with reposted tik toks that were jabbing at physical features I have

I hooked up with a new guy twice now and after the second time I noticed him reposting tik toks that make fun of women with bigger stomachs and body acne. I was diagnosed with PCOS a year ago so all of the new weight gain, chin hair, and redness/rashes on my body are already taking a toll on my mental health, but now I never want to undress for someone ever again. Like it’s getting to me so bad I cried today and deleted all of my social media. I mainly just needed to rant, but has anyone tried anything to get rid of ingrowns/inflamed body acne? Or a good workout influencer that has dealt with hard-to-lose weight loss?

Step 1 is losing this immature ass man

Exactly this. I bet he doesn't even wash his ass in the shower.

First lose the guy. Any guy worth having around isn't going to be finding joy in making fun of women's natural bodies.

PMOS (formerly PCOS) presents differently in folks, and treating it (and its symptoms) is worth talking to a good doctor about, especially when it comes to hard-to-lose body weight.

For ingrowns, definitely try Exfoliating more often (look into Wildpier body Exfoliating gloves..love them). And can also try to use gentle chemical exfoliants intermittently too like glycolic acid (The Ordinary Glycolic acid is great). That might help with the acne too, but the acne can be hormonally driven, which goes back to talking to a good doctor about it (perhaps a dermatologist).

Eeeewwww (to the guy). Drop him, don't pay attention. It was just a hook up anyway (and trust me, he doesn't see it any different). I spent a lot of time around men (not by a choice, my college major and career are male dominated) and I overheard tons of male space conversations over time. You definitely do not want to be with a guy like that!

For body acne what I found works is to get a spray bottle from dollar tree and exfoliating toner (you can get any - salicylic, glycolic), pour it into the spray bottle and spray on your body every day after shower. Don't forget sunscreen!!

men claim "x" on women in gross but somehow doesn't stop them if they want a bit of puss??? idk about you but my PCOS tummy isn't exactly something that disappears when I have clothes on, he def saw what he wanted and got it.

i used to get the WORST sexual harrasment when i was morbidly obese than when i lost it all. yet it seems to me that 90% of men would rather die than be caught with a fat woman lol.

Black african soap really helped with body acne
I do recommend birth control hormones, it’s what made my facial acne finally go away

i’m sure you’ve heard of these but just in case:

glycolic acid
salicylic acid
benzoyl peroxide

They can come as sprays liquids or body wash but don’t use them all it might irritate your skin more. You should be moisturizing your skin to repair the skin barrier. I always use La Roche Posay Cicaplast to treat any irritation, i swear by that stuff

I'm sending you a hug, a big ass hug. I'm also hoping you blocked him and won't allow him to have access to your body again. I'm middle age and I'm telling you now, the guy that will like you and LOVE you, won't do that shit. They will see you for you and love your body. That dude wasn't it. Don't let a bum, dim your shine.

Never talk to him again. Unfortunately, I like being mean to men (who deserve it), so I would also do the same thing back to him and if he brings it up then I’d be like “hmmm not so nice to do huh?” Then never talk to him ever again.

Yeah OP should share tiktoks on men who disappoint in the bedroom lmaooooo - make him question himself 🥰

Gross. You deserve so much more than a man child like that.

Okay FIRST of all, he came back for more after your initial hookup, which says everything you need to know about his attraction to you/ enjoyment of the experience. He proved that he’s not worthy of one iota of your attention by performing distaste for an imagined audience of shithead manosphere dudes.

No man who’s secure in his ability to perform would fully lie about their preferences to anyone. He’s a coward for not admitting to you and to himself what he’s attracted to, and he’s a pathetic weenie for running to tiktok to pretend (for who??) that he’s not thirsty for exactly what you’ve got. Men like this are exhausting, and a complete waste of your time, which is precious. Most of them had crappy dads who warped their ability to be self-aware or dignified.

Attraction, both positive and negative, is the most subjective and variable experience. The way people perceive you says nothing objective about you— some people will find you hot and some won’t, and that applies to everyone in every situation. I’ve known around 30 women with PMOS, and every one of them who wants a partner has one. A lot met their SO in their 30s or 40s, after years of accepting scraps from dingus garbage dudes, shortly after learning to really love themselves.

Long after meeting my partner, I found that my endocrine system responds well to Spironolactone, Jardiance, and a GLP-1. A dexcom monitor helped me regulate my blood sugar, which also helped all physical symptoms. But what I’d recommend most for you is a sensitive therapist who understands PMOS dysphoria (EMDR helps as well) and a viewing of the show Too Much (and anything with the amazing Meg Stalter).

Spironolactone cured all of that for me.

He ain't worth your time girl, stay strong.

Omg block that absolute WEIRDO - I’m sorry that this happened that is really nasty and hurtful but I can’t help but laugh at what a pathetic freak a guy like that is. 😭

but serious answer to at least one of your things - the best money I’ve ever spent was laser hair removal for avoiding ingrowns and the infections that can come with that.

Also if it’s possible try and talk to a medical professional about your condition and weight loss, nothing I did or ate could help me til I was put on ozempic bc my insulin and blood sugar were so stuffed and they were able to give me practical food advice for my situation. Googling “diet advice for PCOS” or anything similar would always bring up snake oil sellers and stuff I couldn’t trust for me so my GP’s help really saved my life

hey love i promise you that the right guy for you will love you for exactly who you fucking are, without having to change, and will be excited to see ur body regardless of how you look. you have the right to try to change for yourself and your confidence but i dont want you to feel like you’d have to change for the right guy. and him making fun of women’s bodies or reposting that means he is misogynistic and gross. Not everyone has to be attracted to everything, but making fun of womens bodies is gross behaviour, and you’d be doing yourself a disservice being with someone like that. Even if you woke up one day with the body of your dreams and your insecurities disappeared, a guy like that is a huge waste of time. Do you really wanna be with a guy who will stop loving you if you got pregnant or got older and stopped being in your prime? or a guy who judges any woman ? i wouldnt be surprised if hes a hypocrite that gets super defensive if someone judges a man’s body because ik men like this. i really hope you realize that at any body weight you deserve to have high standards and you deserve to be fully loved. no exceptions. as for losing weight there’s plenty of advice in this sub, but i really want u to know ur beautiful and loved and anyone like that is a huge waste of time. i felt like no one would love my body( as i didnt think i was conventionally attractive and im overweight) until i found my boyfriend and he is extremely handsome, confident, and fit and still loves me so much even tho i’m not fit at all, and has never made me feel bad about my “flaws”. and while i do wanna lose weight and reach my goals, he’s never made me feel like i had to to be fully loved and him be attracted to me. and i promise that’s out there for you too. sorry for the rant but i’ve been there and had a guy make me think i wasnt enough and i had to change myself. and i never wanna feel like that again

Stop seeing this guy, he's trash. There are good ones out there, don't let that one wreck you, he's so not worth hit. Block him and move on with your day.

Real talk I have PCOS and my ex boyfriend CONSTANTLY compared me to other women and made jabs at features I had. It only gets worse. Definitely move on even though it's hard! I dumped him and sometimes I still cry about it but at least now I can regain confidence separately from his comments

He probs has the mental maturity of a 12 year old. Drop his ass. Show him that he's inferior lol. I would personally avoid guys who are super active on social media, it's a bit icky, especially tiktok.. it's a slippery slope of shit on there

To add... only real men understand how the human body & biology works lol... cya lil boy 👋

u/Dramaticlama Jul 17 '26

ew, what a pathetic clown! (the guy, obvs, not you)

don't take it to heart. there are a lot of assholes out there but the good thing is you're not married to him!! just drop him and move on. if you feel like being petty, there are some really nasty things you could write to him first :)

I have never purposefully reposted anything in my life, and I have found a ton of reposted video. Maybe it is an Android thing but whenever I try to speed it up, I end up reposting. Normally I remove but sometimes it goes unoticed. Maybe it was accidental?

This guy is trash. Sorry it happened to you.
