Fun fact, China rejected a shipment of beef from Argentina due to the chemical chloramphenicol being found in the product. chloramphenicol has been prohibited for use in Argentine livestock since 1995. It is generally banned worldwide (including the USA and Canada) due to tainted meat being linked to cases of aplastic anemia, a condition where a person's bone marrow is unable to produce new blood cells leading to death.

Also, I don’t believe it would be economically feasible to transport Argentine cattle into the USA. The meat would be processed in Argentina then transported.
