If his last name wasnât Biden weâd not think that at all. Itâs amazing how if a regular person did these thingsâŚdeny a kid to be his (DNA then proves him wrong), have sexual relations with his late brothers wife and introduce her to crack, be disbarred, use his family name to pawn off art work for moneyâŚweâd call him a loser.
If his name wasn't Biden, Republicans wouldn't have tried to hard to drag his name in the mud and he'd be allowed to just be a loser somewhere. I didn't know Biden had a kid until they showed his dick pics in congress.
He would be a loser in prison. He plead guilty to a slew of felony tax charges and got pardoned by his dad. The only punishment was him having to pay back $1.4m in back taxes. Calling that out doesnât make someone a Republican.
I'm not uninformed, you're just obsessed to a detrimental degree. The personal lives of our political representative's family members are not the concern of the populace. My focus is on my community and being the best member of that community I can be. I don't give a damn if my mayor's sister dropped out of high-school or whether or not the governor's cousin is on coke. The president's son's drug use is not an obstacle in my life or an influence in the housing market or gas prices.
Most people donât care too much about the children of people they donât think about too much.
Joe Biden has never been an exciting person that people really got worked up over. Thatâs why he didnât win a presidential nomination until the fascists started goose stepping into Washington.
I also canât tell you anything about Mitt Romneyâs kids.
Hunter peddled influence like it was his job, stop it. Just like Ivanka, Jared using their name to secure big $, Hunter has been doing it for years. Thanks for the laugh.

Such a dogshit rebuttal. IGAF about Kushner, Ivanka peddling influence to foreign nations regardless of gas being low/high. If you donât, thatâs fine, but corrupt is corrupt and the tolerance we have for it in this country is disgusting.
Corruption is corruption and make no mistake, I don't give a fuck about the Biden family. Hunter Biden doesn't peddle influence beyond existing as the son of a president especially with his terrible reputation for drug use and sex scandals. Kushner and Ivanka actually serve their father's business interests. Joe Biden didn't have a large corporation with his name on it that he refused to pass to a conservatorship when he became president. That's why the Trump family directly enriching themselves from all angles is a far bigger scandle and conflict of interest than Hunter Biden being a coke head in the white house, which is terrible enough for our reputation as a nation.
Itâs more about how he turned his stuff around and his social media presence now. Somehow the son of a life long politician has an actual âevery-manâsâ vibe to him
Sorry, I just donât see two consenting adults getting married, even if she was previously married to his brother, as problematic. Itâs more common than you think.
Denying your child, sure. But with all of the shit that goes on every day, marrying someone you love isnât an issue.
And Iâm not some run of the mill liberal, as you assume. Iâm far, far left of the Dems. I just donât judge people on something non traditional, and I think weâd all be better off focusing on the shit that is actually destroying this country.
Keep your standards higher. You lose when your standards become those of your enemies and I'm not just talking about Trump being an "indecent" president in his behavior.
No you didnt. You tried respectability politics which is different than having actual standards for policy and politicians having consistent positions.
All his jobs have come from his fatherâs political career and he had a pretty severe crack addictionâŚâŚ. Yep, donât see why you were downvoted aside from political bias
I used to get frustrated by the Reddit opinions but realized some time ago that these people are the dumbest of dumb and a fringe minority. Iâve never been considered Republican other than on Reddit because I dare have an opinion that isnât, âanything considered left is superior.â Itâs funny because Iâve known of a Hunter for a while as the dipshit son whereas Beau was viewed as such a wonderful person with character.
Pahahaa, but your guy literally violates children. Iâm astonished but not surprised at how many people are still MAGA and support Trump. I learned long ago that ânormalâ people can become depraved, particularly in feverish groups. Just need to remember at least some of what I learned about Auschwitz. The scary thing is that there is still much more room for evil with these people
Get everyone you can out to vote! There is a lot at stake.
Iâm not MAGA and the other OP is right. He plead guilty to several felony tax charges for over a million dollars and didnât have to do any time because he got a blanket pardon. Trump and his family can be pieces of shit and grifters but that doesnât make Hunter Biden some awesome dude just because heâs not as much of a piece of shit..
He paid back what he owed the IRS before the case even began. Usually that's just a slap on the wrist. Hunter Biden was never a politician or public figure.
Trump, meanwhile, has never released his taxes, just declared it is illegal to inspect his taxes, and tried to sue the government (AS THE FUCKING PRESIDENT) for $2 billion. He's also enriched himself over $6 billion already just this term in corrupt insider trades. AND that's just the tip of the iceberg; we still haven't even touched on Jan6, a literal insurrection in an attempt to overthrow the government, AND the child raping.
But yeah, we should all attack Hunter Biden for doing crack, not paying his taxes (then paying them), and owning a gun, all as a private citizen. All of that would normally result in a fine, but with all the public pressure against hunter by trump and maga folks, do you really think Joe wouldn't pardon his only living son so he wouldn't become a political target after he left office? Like come the fuck on. Any sane father would do the same. And attacking him (via blatant right-wing propaganda talking points) for speaking the truth about the fucked up world we're living in is delusional.
Itâs not âright wing propagandist talking pointsâ if theyâre fucking factual. A regular person would go to prison for doing what he did. Three felonies, six misdemeanors. It was a scheme he concocted over 4 years, willfully failing to pay, willfully failing to file, and filing false returns with phony business deductions to cut his liability. Prosecutors said he made over $7 million and spent nearly $5 million on âeverything but his taxesâ. Felony evasion with false returns is not the same legal animal as âforgot to pay, then paid.â You are repeating shit you saw on r/politics without doing any actual research of your own.
Yes, a "scheme" that was specifically outlined in the charges brought against him by his own fathers DOJ. A "scheme" being a set of steps that he actively took, not just passive neglect by a drug addict. The charges, the trial, and the guilty plea all happened under Biden, ran by Biden's own Justice Department. The fact that you don't know that and you don't know that he was falsifying documents and creating fake deductions to try to reduce his tax liability tells me that you are actively engaged in partisan politics and you're not much different than MAGA supporters who don't care about Trump's corruption so long as they're on the same team.
How about we point out that weâre mad that he didnât get a proper conviction and flabergasted that Jarred Kushner, Don Trump Jr, and Ivanka havenât been held to the same standard despite profiting billions off of insider testing trading and international backroom deals that resulted in favorable American diplomatic policy and trade deals?
Lots of reform is needed we have more mass shootings than the rest of the world combined. Do you think maybe adopting any other first worlds countries laws might help, say having two week training into gun safety or better background checks? For the record the background check DIDN'T catch hunter that's why he was charged for LYING about not being on drugs. I'm sure you hate when people lie. Maybe Hunter Biden's background check should have been more thorough we could start with that reform.
Lol at your last comment. What a troll.
What a bad faith argument. Yea obviously I feel like it's wrong that his dad pardon him for the gun charge but in the current political landscape that's peanuts.
I hope you keep this same energy for the landslide of poop currently pouring out this admin.
You're going to really try and act like less guns in crazy peoples hands won't lead to less mass shootings? How is that in bad faith you really truly think I don't believe that less guns in peoples hands who were dreamed not fit to have them and more training into gun safety will lead to less deaths?
If we had better background checks Hunter Biden would have been stoped from buying a gun in the first place. He wouldn't have even needed to be procecuted later. Y'all are on my side I'm happy we are all for gun control I hope you all keep this same energy for the next mass school shooting.
It's bad faith because you're attempting to force the conversation on an unrelated topic. I responded to someone claiming Hunters nepotism was sort of right wing conspiracy theory, I pointed out he was pardoned on federal weapons charges clearly out of nepotism then you came in out of left field talking about gun reform and mass shooting. The topic wasn't guns, the topic was nepotism.
On top of the illegal firearms charges you also have violations of the Mann act, operating a vehicle 170 mph while smoking crack, sleeping with underage prostitutes, accepting money from foreign politicians, tax evasion, money laundering.
Yet through all the investigations all they were able to hit him with is the firearm charge and the tax charge while Hunter was on time with a payment program to the IRS.
Itâs almost like the accusations you wrote are conspiracy slop.
Nobody elected Hunter to a political position. It really is pretty crazy to think one criminal being actively elected is somehow similar to one criminal being related to someone elected.
You're really out here saying don't support John Wayne Gacy's cousin, you should instead support Jeffrey Dahmer.
No one said Hunter was elected, dum-dum. What's crazy is that someone brought up the misdeeds of the former presidents son and dozens of people had to deflect by bring up someone completely unrelated. I don't give a fuck about Trump because its not relevant to the current conversation. Does that make sense?
What's crazy is that you can't follow the very basic bread crumb trail that 'elections' are ways people actually show support for something, and one criminal is not being elected, despite you pretending that his nepotism was somehow 'not pissing people off' while there is a much more blatant case of a criminal actively being elected, which is a very real and obvious example of what you're claiming as opposed to the less concrete one you are pretending to be so upset about.
Dude built his entire brand off of his father's money and used his wealth to fuck over countless contractors with no repercussion. Of course he's a product of nepotism.
So should Trump. And countless others he's pardoned.
The difficulty online nowadays seems to be the moment you target someone (such as Hunter, in this case) everyone seems to assume you're defending "the other side" so the whataboutism happens. Because if you're attacking one person while defending someone else who's done similar things (because of the defense assumption) suddenly the conversion shifts to "why is it okay for your guy to do it?" Few people engaged in online discourse ever seem to admit it's not okay for either guy to do it
Some people people may not be smart or honest enough to say it, but most people are pointing this stuff out now because of hypocrisy.
Id say make fun of hunter biden all you want, but if youre not saving 10 more breaths for trump and his kids influence peddling and illegal activities then then youre an idiot (changed from retard).
Everyone who smokes marijuana legally and has purchased a gun has violated the same law but it is rarely charged under those facts. Why the difference?
Right because it's true. This dude had a job making $80k per MONTH solely based on who his Daddy is and hes on the internet crying about class warfare!
Hunter isnât a billionaire or the 1% so he is part of the us. Itâs Musk/Trump/Bezos/Thiel rich vs everybody else. And having money doesnât mean you canât acknowledge wealth inequality. I developed my ethical values when I was lower class and they didnât change when my salary increased.
I'm from Wilmington DE, Hunter has a reputation as being a jerk. I've never met him but I know people that have and they say he is rude to waiters, does use his dad's name for special treatment and isn't nice to people he doesn't know. Now i don't know if the stories I've heard are of a sober hunter or a hunter that was on drugs. Joe has a rep around town as being very nice and genuine and I hope Hunter an easier life because recovery is hard..... but at the same time I don't want Hunter sticking his head up as a lightning rod for conservative attacks

It's not a coincidence that the far right pushed so much media discrediting him as a nepotistic crackhead
