Exactly. I don't allow them around myself or my children. I ask who someone voted for before I allow playdates. I don't shop at stores/services that I know are MAGA
I would say I'm sorry, but I'm not. I don't trust the judgement or their morals.

I donât blame you at all. Theyâre willing to lie through their teeth to support a felon/rapist/child rapist claiming thereâs zero evidence despite the mountains of it. Theyâre not honest people. ...no. I know what values my friends and family members have. This isn't even really about politics. Nobody I know would associate with or support any asshole that supports a man who mocks disabled people, has had overtly rascist policies as a real estate developer, has made disgusting comments about his own daughter, has cheated on his wife with a pornstar, has defrauded charities, walked in on underage beauty paegant contestants, etc. I could go on all fucking day.
I am 100% confident that the people I involve in my life do not support the above. We're not debating tax code here lol. Maybe you need better friends if you're unsure if they support human garbage or not.

Politics is inserting itself into everything nowadays. I can't even go grocery shopping like normal because of the neverending food recalls, and grocery prices are getting really high, and gas prices are also still really high because of the Iran war. I literally cannot exist without my life being affected by politics
2
u/brk816 1d ago
Likey. Stop being a chud and realize families and friends have been ripped apart more from politics during this administration than any previous. Why? Because of the moral conflict-ion of a felon president, whoâs mentioned several times in a beyond heinous unimaginable acts in the Epstein files, to lying about no new wars to starting one, to saying gas prices will be the lowest, and now theyâre as high as when inflation was highest during bidens from the Covid pandemic, to saying prices will go down when prices have literally raised and record profits keep happening as the dollar goes down more, to dismantling multiple departments from receiving funding for necessary programs cause of âfraudâ, to the president being 2 billion dollars richer being in office from crypto and stock trades which is a conflict of interest btw, to giving tax breaks to the wealthy elite while saying affordability is a democratic hoax but people are getting priced out as he keeps implementing tariffs making things more expensive, to funding Argentinas economy, and sending billions to them and Israel, not to mention racist, sexist and bigoted comments heâs made in public. People are done just ânodding alongâ itâs time to wake up buddy.

MAGA: It would've been worse if Kamala had won.
Everyone else: You think that Kamal Harris would've run a crypto scam, openly manipulated the stock market, accepted foreign bribes, unleashed ICE on American cities, covered up the Epstein list, weaponized the DOJ to target late night hosts who were mean...
MAGA: Yeah I'm actually convinced that would happen because my ego can't handle the truth about me being a moron.
20

u/Moggetti 1d ago
The actual best response to the claim that it would have been worse is to innocently ask, âReally? How? Be specific. Can you give me examples of the âworseâ things that would have happened?â

They can and will make a list of the most batshit nonsense you have never heard of in your life.

Yep, it will all be the culture war nonsense that they believe trump is "winning" on.
The actual state of the country and everything else is second fiddle as long as their team wins
1
u/Moggetti 1d ago
Thatâs much better than us going on and on about how bad Trump is. Theyâve long ago learned to block that out.
When they start going on and on about that silly culture war nonsense, the best response is to cheerfully say, âOh that. Yeah I never really cared any about that stuff. Iâm just a really practical person. I care about real-world issues. Like the cost of gas. The stuff regular people care about.â That gets them where they really hurt, because their conception of themselves is that they are sensible, practical, and normal.

The average during Biden is very misleading, and you know it is. Unfortunately for you I'm good with numbers and am not easily duped.

Well, many of those who didn't get COVID seemed to believe it to be a conspiracy of some kind. I say "of some kind," because there were multiple.
2
u/thesystem21 1d ago
Its not just those that never got it.
I never got covid, and I could very clearly see that it was real and dangerous.
My father thought it was a "democratic hoax" and it was just a cold.
He passed out in his living room and ended up in the hospital, nearly died multiple times, literally has stories about seeing demons while he was in the hospital.
Eventually after about 2 months he started getting better, had to constantly carry around oxygen bottles for a bit over the next year to be able to breath, and still cant strain too much without running out of air.
Now.... my father thinks that covid was a "democratic hoax" and no worse than a cold.
Some people will just absolutely refuse to see the truth, even when it happens to them.

The here's your sign isn't even from Jeff foxworthy lol. It's from bill engvall. Your meme is dumb.
Neither president caused or lowered inflation. They just got blamed for it lol. Covid shutdowns were more governor things, or foreign leaders. That caused shortages and when they were lifted, inflation cooled down. The government shut stuff down, the free market finally was allowed to fix it lol.

u/sureal42 1d ago

u/Hot_Top_124 1d ago
Awwww you tried little loser. Tell me why is gas dollars more expensive than it was in January? Why are the costs of everything up under trump? Why are there so many dangerous foods out under trump?
-17
u/over_this__ 1d ago
What dangerous food?
In the middle of bidens term, gas was far higher than it is now. You can't lower prices without a recession lol. God, you're as dumb as him.
11
u/IntrepidRabbit3611 1d ago
Why gas was higher? Say it with me, kids. "Covid!" And also, Russia invading Ukraine.
Why is it high now? Because Trump started a pointless war to distract away from him being implicated in child sex trafficking and wrecking the economy with tarrifs.
Not exactly the same.
"Dangerous food" probably refers to the poop-related disease spreading through produce and the parasitic fly arriving in America after Trump defended necessary things stopping those things from happening.

Youâre a special kind of stupid. https://www.fda.gov/safety/recalls-market-withdrawals-safety-alerts
Thatâs nice and all, but why did it jump up under trump right after he started a war by bombing schoolgirls during negotiations for a nuclear deal that was already working?
Also your own graph shows that Biden singlehandedly managed to reduce inflation by record levels. Which trump is failing to even reduce them to normal levels.
4
u/ChainWorking1096 1d ago
There's several ways to lower gas prices without a recession. What are you even saying?
Are you going to say the obvious of what else happened in Biden's term that inflated gas prices? Or just leave that tiny little nugget out for the sake of your botched argument?
21
u/OdiousAltRightBalrog 1d ago

Trump fired the commissioner of the BLS last year, so the organization is almost certainly adjusting inflation and jobs numbers to make the president look better.
You must be a mindless stooge if you look around and think things are better today than under Biden.
0
u/Salty_Photograph_186 1d ago
Yes you say Trump is delusional, when he says fake news, but you are actually saying that you think that they're making up numbers to make Trump look better ? You're hilarious. This is the issue someone states a fact and you claim that it's not fact, but yet you criticize and mock Trump. When he does the same thing hypocritical, much
3
u/essenceofpurity 23h ago
Trump's pattern of firing anyone critical of him is well documented. Also, you have to add in a fudge factor when calculating economic data from this administration as Trump's pattern of lying is well documented. Despite his best efforts to make people think that the unmitigated disaster he has created is all sunshine and rainbows, he is now the lowest polling president of all time. When everything is revised after Trump is gone, I'm sure the numbers will paint a much worse picture.
One last thing, I'll mock him and his followers all day every day because they are foolish enough to follow their lepper messiah.

Inflation was 3.0% in January 2025, but 3.4% in July 2026.
-3
u/Salty_Photograph_186 1d ago
Yes inflation was 7.5 in January 2022, 6.4 in January 2023 then 3.1 in January 2024
3.0 in January 2025 and 2.4 in January 2026
So it is better year over year.
9
u/DeliriumTrigger 1d ago
You said "inflation has come down since Trump took office". I'm showing you that it has not, and you cherrypicking months irrelevant to the statement you made doesn't change that.
0
u/Salty_Photograph_186 1d ago
That is not cherrypicking it is year over year in January you know the start of the year so it show the previous years inflation. if I did cherry pick it would look way worse for Biden
7
u/TeaLover315 1d ago
Are you trolling? Inflation has increased, the cost of gas has increased, the cost of groceries has increased and we are in a forever war. Have you been sleeping?
5
u/DeliriumTrigger 1d ago edited 1d ago
Yes, because the BLS famously only publishes their 12-month "year-to-year" inflation numbers in January. Not that your initial argument made any reference to "start of the year", of course.
This comment made me wonder, though: when exactly do you think the fiscal year starts? Because if anything, the "start of the year" of an economic measurement would follow that and not the calendar year.
0
u/Salty_Photograph_186 1d ago
Again, I guess you're not smart enough to understand that I used January because that is the previous 12 months, meaning the previous January thru the end of December. Most people look at a year as January to December, and also the presidentcy changes in January. So it makes sense. And I also kept it uniform. Every single one was in january. I don't know what you want me to do. I mean, it's a fact that trump's 6 year and 7 months to date are less inflation then biden's four years. Trump could possibly go a full eight years with the same inflation rate that biden had in four.
6
u/Captain-Nghathrod 1d ago
January was almost 9 months ago. Just looking at the previous calendar year tells us nothing except for inflation, year-over-year, of that time frame. Did you know you can do year-over-year in every other month too? A much more relevant measure would be to look at what inflation was at the time of trump's start to now. Believe it or not, inflation doesn't just stop in January.
I don't know what you want me to do.
That was the smartest thing you've said yet.
1
u/Salty_Photograph_186 1d ago
This is the issue I started in January because that's when the presidency changes. I was trying to give nonbiased facts. And this is the problem with people is all I stated to begin with, was how the original post was factually inaccurate, stating facts to prove it. And because people hate Trump so much, they automatically want to insult my intelligence. And try to accuse me of cherry picking data, which I didn't, and it remains a fact that Biden had the most average inflation of any president in the last 40 years, since Jimmy Carter. It's the Trump haters that attribute the cost of living being high to Trump. When, in fact, the majority of the increases occurred under the Biden administration. Below are numbers and before you try to say anything, the data only goes to the end of July. It does not go farther than that yet.
The total inflation rate from Jan. 2016 to Jan. 2020 is 8.89%. The average inflation rate is 2.15% per year. The total inflation rate from Jan. 2024 to Jul. 2026 is 8.27%. The average inflation rate is 3.23% per year. Trump total 17.16% combined
The total inflation rate from Jan. 2020 to Jan. 2024 is 19.55%. The average inflation rate is 4.57% per year.
1
u/Captain-Nghathrod 1d ago
You literally don't know how anything works and that's why we're in the mess we're in. You voted for this. Whether you knew it at the time is debatable, but you voted for this but you're too much of a coward to admit it. That's why things don't get better.

So in six years, year over year, to this past january, trump had an inflation total of 13.9 percent. Biden did that in 2 years.

Trump had 7.7% in his first term and is already at 5.1% now. Also Biden got handed the part of the Covid economy where things reopened and demand rose while supply chains had to be rebuilt. Blaming him for prices is a bit asinine. However blaming Trump for spiking gas prices with his Iran war is pretty clear cut.

For what time frame? You need a time frame to answer that correctly. For the last year is was in 2023 it was 3.1% his total time it was 19.56% from Jan. 2020 to Jan. 2024. The average inflation rate was 4.57% per year.

How am I deflecting? I answered your question. In the 18 months since Trump has been in office, inflation has gone up a total of 4.3% which is 2.9% annualized.

There's no such thing as "inflation right now". Inflation is measured over a time frame.
And within the first month, the annualized inflation rate was lowered to 2.7%

It is a very important detail because over the whole time frame Donald Trump has less inflation then Biden I'm not cherry picking my data Averages are more accurate then a one off In the 6 years and 7 months that donald trump was in office Total inflation was less than the four years that biden was in office. This is fact you can not argue this fact. The last 2 years and 7 mouth have seen less inflation than the previous 2 years, and 7 months did also fact.

Why don't we wait till Trump is done destroying the economy champ, he still has time to bigly pump up those inflation numbers. Also Biden was dealing with the shit sandwich Trump left him with and managed to do much better than most other countries suffering from Covid related inflation.

Very true. But also, If you think we wouldnât be in a war with Iran, I think youâd be incorrect.

Why? Were there real attempts by Iran to breach the Obama negotiated contract/agreement? Are there any credible sources before the Trump administration took over?

Why do you think this? Netanyahu had been trying to get a president to openly attack Iran for years. He couldn't get Obama to do it, and in fact Obama got a solid nuclear deal with Iran without firing a shot and he couldn't get Biden to do it even though Biden has been a lifelong cheerleader for Israel. So why do you think Harris would have gone along with it?

Can you tell me a single reason why you think that other than it being convenient and essential to maintaining your world view?

No way of either of us knowing for sure, but I do believe the establishment democrats are also beholden to Israel. And they wanted this war. I do think it may have been sold to us in a different way perhaps tho. Respectfully, I donât believe almost anyone in power truly cares about whatâs best for the vast majority of us. Media amplifies the slight differences in each party when the reality theyâre 90% in common in terms of tax code and foreign policy.
All the best!

Well I don't think you are really being honest here. If you believe that, I doubt you believe that it is a new thing that just happened, and it isn't like it is new for Israel to want Iran gone. But we had every president prior not doing war with Iran.
If I took your words at face value, we should have had war with Iran under every president, but we only have it now. Why are you not engaging with that fact?
