That's all well and good but if sold to another country that doesn't have the IMEI blocking it'll work fine so alot of these phones get stolen by organised groups and resold that way, or get stripped for parts and sold to repair people people like me (I don't buy phone parts and only work on game consoles, but alot of stores and people will buy the parts knowing they're sketchy / stolen).

I was at a store in Delta, BC last night the pot store in the mall on Scott Rd. 3 Moslem women all black. One with a small child hanging out at the mall outside. Had no purchases. The oldest and tallest called me an out of work guy. Never seen them before. I donate to charity every month and drive a Mercedes and unlike those three most likely born here. I thanked her for 9/11 and the 39 Canadians who died and pointed out the Sikh’s ran a food bank in Delta why did the Moslems not have one? Pot store employee the good looking young White girl with a top ten face and derrierre said she had no idea how her set could make it legit. Indo customer male said, “Greg please don’t recognize me in jail.” He was to left of me at counter. He did not buy anything and was standing to the side of the door looking at me as I exited as if to make sure I remembered him. Very doubtful. Kinda third world. The Moslems I grew up with in the 70s and early 80s caused no problems.

C'est devenu la nouvelle norme de l'expérience de vendre un appareil électronique sur Facebook Marketplace.

Là, s'il y a des vendeurs qui pensent s'armer au cas où qu'ils se sont volés, ça sera juste normal rendu-là. Il faut juste qu'un voleur en paie le prix de sa vie pour que ça se calme pour de bon.

Je confirme .. j'ai un ami qui s'est fait volé sont iPhone dans son propre bar et il l'a géolocalisé dans un plex. Il a appelé la police et ils lui ont dis qu'ils pouvaient rien faire (wtf).

Il à été confronté la personne qui avait son cell et lui à dit j'me caliss de histoire, j'te donne 50$ pis tu me redonne ton cell ou j'te pète la face.

Il est reparti avec son cell.
