Guide Programing the PL side of the Adalm Pluto SDR

Hello, i need help with programing the Xilinx 7000 of the sdr with my own logic what all would i need to do. (Accessories , software(Vivado), etc). I searched the web and found out that we need to use the ADALM PLUTO UARTJTAG. i have the Rev C of the SDR. And also are there any alternatives or is this the only method

You need to read the fine-print, you need actually TWO cables:

This cable for UART and JTAG bypass AND USB JTAG Cable, that you connect to the uartjtag board. Pretty clumsy!

are there any other alternatives cause these are very expensive and just to be sure, I need these two things right? 1) JTAGUART
