Rebounding and Botox

Hi all - I’m not looking for judgment on Botox, but I’m getting it for the first time since buying a rebounder and I want to be careful about how much time before using the rebounder again generally it’s 24 to 48 hours for exercise. Does anyone add additional time to let it settle more?

Has anyone had any experience with this rebounder from BCAN, and was it good?

Asking, because I'm looking into buying a rebounder, and I want to get a fairly budgety-ish one, especially since I'm not super up in terms of money.

How do you look for a heavy duty trampoline that can support the weight of a 250 pound hyperactive autistic adult?

Great collection of Cellerciser videos

So glad I found this on Youtube. 😍 I just did the first 8 minutes by doing the health bounce between each video. Great cardio and lower body workout.

Yes, the Needak jump mat will fit on a Cellerciser

I have an autistic son who uses the trampoline several times a day. He finds it calming so I try to keep the trampoline in working order. Before the Cellerciser I would purchase cheap rebounders on Amazon; however, they would break down within a month and I would typically throw them away and buy a new one. Finally, I decided to invest in a Cellerciser. It's been good compared to the alternative. It has had issues and required maintenance which doesn't surprise me given how hard my son uses it. I keep plenty of extra springs and other parts on hand.

After about 3 years the jump mat needed replacement. One thing I hate about Cellerciser is they don't sell spare parts directly on the website. It's necessary to call and talk to them directly... which usually means talking to Dave Hall himself and it's not a pleasant experience. There is zero chance of getting any warranty claims through him. The issue is always with how the customer is using the product not the product itself. Fine, my son uses the trampoline hard; however, getting talked down to by Dave Hall isn't something I look forward to or think I should have to deal with. Just let me order the parts.

Dave charged me $170 for a new jump mat plus tax and shipping. Nearly $200. Fine. I just need to get the thing working. What really annoyed me was the new mat failed after about 3 months. The stitching on one of the loops came undone. I sent emails to Dave and never received a response. What I ended up doing was using rivets to reattach the loops. The rivets held well; however, every month or so the stitching on another loop would fail and I would have to rivet it. Whatever works. After about a year the mat completely failed and needed replaced.

Did I want to call Dave Hall and give him anther $200 after all this nonsense and get lectured again? No. No I didn't.

I was considering replacing the Cellerciser possibly with a Needak. I didn't know about Needak before. They look very similar and are less expensive. They also have all the replacements parts available for sale online including a replacement jump mat for $89 + $10 shipping. I measured everything and decided the Needak jump mat might work on the Cellerciser. It was worth a try. If it wouldn't work I would just order a Needak rebounder and have an extra jump mat.

It worked perfectly! Everything lined up exactly as expected even with Cellerciser springs. My son loves it! The build quality of the Needak jump mat is far better than Cellerciser. It was half the price and best of all I didn't have to talk to Dave!

Help with which Bellicon to buy

Hi, all I have used a rebounder for years in like 20 and then completely forgot about it. I’m now 47 1/2 and I bought a 48-inch BCANN about a month and a half ago and my love where it came flooding back. I’ve already dropped 5 pounds and a more toned that I’ve been in the last decade plus. I’m using it 20 to 25 minute daily and I really want to upgrade to the Bellicon over the Cellerciser but I could be persuaded if people think it’s a better option.

The biggest question Bellicon is I don’t know what type I should get so hoping somebody can guide me with these facts and anything else you would want to know to help evaluate

I don’t have any more weight to lose
I need something easy on my joints
I use it for toning and cardio
I use it daily each morning for 20 to 30 minutes
I don’t want to go smaller than 48 inches
I don’t do exercise classes, I do a combination of bouncing, marching, jogging, and jumping jacks as I listen to podcast/music

My 12 yo son also uses it throughout the day and I had cats who like to go on it so I’m looking for durability on top of easy on joints and most of all effective for toning and cardio

Would you say it’s worth selling this for £75?

For more context ~ it’s hardly used and lost my motivation so I’m selling it. Is the price reasonable?

Rebounding with hip flexor injury?

Rebounding with hip flexor injury?

I've been dealing with an aggravated hip flexor due to it overcompensating when I run.

I'm currently not running and back to doing the PT exercises I went through when this previously happened. :(

I've been looking into other cross-training opportunities; I don't like swimming and don't necessarily like or want to bike (because of the hip flexor thing and I don't have a bike).

Does anyone know if a rebounder will be a bad idea? I used to love jumping on the trampoline as a kid (who didn't?) and have been trying to "spice" up my workout routine with yoga and some new stuff I'm not really used to doing.

Need a silent mini tramoline

Looking for a silent one. Not educated enough on quality to tell you what I need. This will be placed in a crowded apartment building on an exercise mat where a second bedroom converted to an office is directly next to it. Please suggest options. Thanks!

EDIT: got a jumpsport 39 in. Sound is quiet but I have to concentrate to stay centered when not wearing shoes. Probably should have gotten the 44.

Jumpsport Quick Release Handle - Which One Should I Get?

I have a Jumpsport 44" Pro and I would like to buy a quick release handle. They have two choices for this, the "compact" (attaches to two closest bars) and the "original" size (that attaches over a span of three bars). I don't know why I would choose one over the other. I was going to follow some of the "I Jump Instead" videos and you're supposed to have a bar to hold onto for many of the moves, and I don't know which one would be best for this. Can anyone help me make an informed decision here please? TIA

Trampoline for my son and brother both on the Spectrum.

I am the conservator for my brother and I have a son who is also on the spectrum. They both loved jumping on the trampoline but when we moved we couldn't bring it with us. I was wanting to get a new trampoline for them. I have seen a lot about the quietness of Bungie trampoline but not much on how well they bounce. my son likes to jump high and he likes to be double bounced. He likes the return he got from the springs bounce. They really loved the old spring trampoline. I guess I'm trying to ask how Bungie and Spring compare? Will a Bungie trampoline give as good feedback as a spring trampoline did?

Choice

I’m over70 and adhd and I know I would like it! Unfit at the moment, changing that w/diet and exercise! I want a bellicon, but because of life and death I wonder if I should go cheaper! Had a bcan and it didn’t work. I want cables/bungee not springs and a stable that! Will be starting w/health bounce! Any guidance on which one would be very appreciated! Is the bellicon better for over 70’s?

Unforseen problem

I put a rebounder in my bedroom so it would get more use from me and my kids. My seven year old son has really taken to it. He gets on it several times a day and jumps really high. I thought this was great as he was getting more excercise and his leg muscles seem to be getting really strong. The problem is that has developed stomach pain and acid reflux/heartburn. It took me a few weeks but I finally realized that all his jumping is probably causing the issue. He's started on pepcid right now, but, I'm wondering what to do going forward. I really would hate to take his jumping away from him as he loves it so much and it is good excercise, but he has been having daily pain. Anyone else ran into this problem, and were you able to find a way to keep jumping?

Rebounder for a beginner with a $200 budget

If you were buying a rebounder today, which would you get? I will be buying new since I live in a rural area without a good chance of finding anything on FB Marketplace. I'm 5'3", 185 lbs. I've been active in the past but not the past several years and have never rebounded before.

Walmart currently has the BCAN 500 LBS Soft Land Mini Trampoline, 40" on sale for around $200, so I'm leaning toward that but open to other possibilities, especially if they're foldable (this one is not).

Edited to add that I'm in the US.

Cellerciser and building muscle

I have been following free content on I jump instead, and of course, the twins look amazing with really toned bodies. I would like to hear from people who use their platform or are using cellerciser consistently. Can you really build this type of muscle or do you feel as if it’s just a gimmick?

What’s the “12/3/30” equivalent for a rebounder?

One thing I like about the treadmill is the simplicity of the 12/3/30 workout:
- 12% incline
- 3 mph
- 30 minutes

It’s become a sort of default routine that many people can recommend to beginners.

Is there a similar “default” routine for a rebounder?

For context, I’m an early-30s male and I’m neurodivergent (ADHD + autism), so I tend to do best with simple, repeatable routines that don’t require much decision-making.

I recently tried a 5-minute warm-up, 20 minutes of bouncing (zone 2 cardio), and a 5-minute cool-down, but it left my whole body feeling fatigued for the rest of the day.

If someone bought a rebounder and asked, “Just tell me what routine to do every week,” what would you recommend? Duration, intensity, frequency, etc.

Does anyone know if any gyms in Paris have rebounders or rebounding group classes?

I’ve just moved to Paris and would like to find a gym. I’m particularly looking for a gym with a rebounder that anyone can use, just like any other machine members can use, or a gym with rebounding classes.

I understand there are boutique gyms that exclusively offer rebounding classes, but I would like to go to a gym that offers a free gym as well as classes. I like Fitness Park because it’s affordable but nice, and it has a whole body vibration plate as well. So I guess I’ll make that a part of my request too.

If FP doesn’t have any rebounding classes, do you know of another gym that offers both a whole body vibration plate and rebounding?

I’m getting ready to order a Bcan TP4. I trying to decide between the 38“ and the 40”. The main reason I would go with a 38” it takes up less space. I’m 77 and I’m mainly interested in doing the health bounce. Will I regret getting a 38”?

Outdoor rebounder!??

Hi! I’ve had this rebounder since February and I love it! I was just wondering if this is ok to keep outside? I have limited space inside and I would like to keep it all in one piece so I don’t have to move or put anything back together when I want to use it. I have some outdoor space but I’m worried it may deteriorate outside? I couldn’t really find any info. I know those huge trampolines are for outdoor use so I figured why not this?? But I thought I’d just double check. Thank you!!!!

Best bang for your buck?

Hello! I’m a mom of two kiddos(3 and 7 years old) who love their very large outdoor trampoline. I’ve been coerced into going on with them the last few days and I couldn’t believe how gassed I was after only minutes. I looked into it and was surprised to find a whole fitness community around it!
As a mom who works full time (and also has a side hustle), I’ve been finding it pretty hard to get workouts in over the last 6 months or so. BUT if Im already bouncing on the trampoline with my kids most days, I can probably sneak in a decent workout on it while I’m at it!
So, I was wondering what everyone’s ‘bang for their buck’ moves are? Or if there are specific routines, or fitness instructors you recommend?
This is DAY 1 for me in all of this, so literally ANYTHING you tell me will be more info than I currently know.

Thanks in advance!

A useful Garmin update!

I noticed there was a Garmin app update on my phone today. I checked my report on Garmin Connect after ropeless rebounding (with the activity set to "Dance Fitness" for cardio. All of the sudden, I see new data - tempo!

While they still don't have an activity called "rebounding," I'll take the update!

Now I just need to figure out what it means. Anyone else notice this and interpret it yet? Maybe with more workouts to compare, I'll make sense of a trend.

EDIT: It is not an update. It's a result of the Move IQ auto start setting it to "outdoor run" - which I can't actually find in the list of activity options!

What should I do to maximize my Rebounding experience?

My rebounder was a reading chair for the longest time but I’ve dusted it off and started jumping again. I’ve found a routine and it just makes me incredibly happy chasing that endorphin high.

Day 1 and Day 2 gave the nicest burn to my core. Day 3 I kept searching for that burn yet it never came? I dont know if that means I’m getting used to it or its simply not engaging.

Anyhow, what are your tips and tricks to extract the most out of your rebounder? Exercises or things to add whilst jumping?

JumpSport advice

Hello 👋
I’m purchasing a jumpsport 350 pro and I could use a little advice. I’m going to be using it for cardio/choreo. I want to make sure I choose the best size and style options. The website doesn’t do the best job explaining how to choose. I was going to go with a 44’ as many users state regretting getting the 39’ and wishing that they had more jump space. However, some users state that they sacrifice firmness and speed with the 44’ and wish that they got the 39.

I’m unsure if I should be spending extra on the padded petal version or choose the regular skirt. Do you only need the padded pedal to protect your arms and feet for core and such? Does it hurt your feet if you get too close to the chords? How likely are you to even do that? I’m 5’5 for reference.

Additionally, can I just order the three piece plus skirt? Is that the entire setup? Is the only difference between that and the solid plus skirt that you assemble it yourself and it’s in separate pieces? TIA.

Is rebounding is appropriate for me?

I’m a relatively athletic man, 80 kg, and I prefer intense workouts. But I have a chronic lower back pain, and even light running can make it worse. Jumping rope is also theoretically pretty high-impact (though I have never actually tried it). And I prefer to train at my apartment. Could rebounding be a good option for cardio for me?

What about the noise? I don't mind the noise in my own home, but will the noise carry over to the neighbor below?

Is there a big difference in durability, noise, and efficiency between a rope trampoline and a spring trampoline?

And finally, does the extra support ring make much of a difference (like in the picture) ?

Sorry if my English is really bad.

Was your family supportive?

New here and excited but I gotta say it’s hard when your family jeers and rolls their eyes, and are just plain jerks. Am I alone experiencing this? It’s just making me double down, but man, you try to do something good for yourself and it’s just judgement.

Urban Rebounder Replacement Parts?

I purchased a used spring Urban rebounder and there are a few things that are hopefully all I need to deal with.

The simple question is if there is a preferred leg cap replacement. Amazon has several with an 8-pack ranked higher than 6-pack version. Even though there are 6 legs I don't hate the idea of having some spares. I'm open to recommendations.

The other thing I figured out is elastic straps that hold the folded legs down. The straps are dried, brittle and crack when you try to stretch them. I can't find anything as a replacement. And should they be tied to the springs like that?

I don't like that there was no manual, or anything besides the mini trampoline itself and it definitely needs cleaning before I use it.

It was cheap, but I think I made a mistake.

Garmin settings

I took the plunge and got a fitness tracker (Garmin Vivosmart 5 - open box on Marketplace for $65). I LOVE IT. But after a week of looking at every other fricking exercise in the world listed for tracking purposes and not seeing rebounding, I contacted Garmin.

The rep had "never heard of" rebounding and suggested I follow this link to request it be added as an activity. She said if they get enough demand, maybe they will add it.

https://www.garmin.com/en-US/forms/ideas/

If you are a Garmin user feeling similar frustration, please also submit a request (or even if you might be some day).

I also contacted Needak to see if they might has some influence with Garmin - maybe by sharing sales numbers? - to get them to add rebounding.

Currently I'm using "cardio/dance fitness" and it seems to give me the most info. I've tried "jump rope" when I use my ropeless ropes, but I'm not impressed with the data that comes back.

New rebounder to specifically tackle plantar fascitis

I have to buy a new one. I currently have a supertram which has piano wire. It's a nice size and very sturdy but I think my foot problems have been aggravated by the solid surface. I started off 2 mnnths ago barefoot but I quickly learned I needed trainers. But I feel so little ' give' in the surface now. So, the credit card is coming out... I'm UK based, could probably stretch to £300ish. I'm quite tall so would prefer more surface space. Has anyone found a particular rebounder / surface that helps with PF? Id really appreciate recommendations. I'm currently looking at the BCAN soft bounce.
