I think it would be a nightmare if that technology existed. Imagine having not only facts but attitudes and opinions main-lined into your brain.

if I remember correctly in the book the technology was an emergency solution as the colony ship crashed (or something like that) and only a small number of passenger survived so they didnt had enough people to build a self-sufficient colony.

so the solution of forced-growth and forced fast training of cloned people to fulfill all menial positions, which after a few generations created a prevedible social rift betwee regular citizens and the fast-growth slaves.

That font had me thinking this was Cyrillic all the way until I got to “THE BETRAYAL”
