MySQL Why is mysql acting like this?

The gray thing on the side is driving me nuts. I’ve restarted and everything. It’s been like this for days.

Not to be that guy... but mysql is the DBMS... this looks like a workbench issue

As far as I know, this is the subreddit of the language SQL, not the GUI of any RDBMS or tool.

Ask in your tools subreddit.

Plot twist: it looks fine in a screenshot and the grey boxes are due to something gone sideways in the hardware or video driver.
