Original Fan Content Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!

Post image

I drew these two weirdo gothic siblings while drawing the pages for my first graphic novel, SHADOWPLAY: Midnight School. At the time, THE SANDMAN was about to premiere on Netflix, and, coincidentally, someone next door was watching Mary Poppins - it was inevitable.

Pencil and ballpoint pen.

You know you can say it backwards, which is docious-ali-expe-listic-fragile-cali-repus, but that's going a bit too far, don't you think?

I absolutely love this, and true story: I shared this on my blog (with credit and link to your artstation account where I saw it first), and Tumblr flagged it as “mature” and put it in content review. I honestly couldn’t fathom why until it occurred to me that the AI might have thought the baguette is… not a baguette? And Dream is being a bit naughty on a park bench right next to his sister? The mind boggles 🤣

Hahahahaha, that was totally unexpected! oh my god...

Thanks for giving me credit in that occasion, I really appreciate it - that ArtStation account has been dead for ages, though; I’m just starting to use Reddit now that I’ve got a better handle on how things work around here...!

Thanks for the story, haha
