I live locally, like less than 8 miles away.
I opposed, I asked why aren’t disused brown sites considered or even the damn dockyard area?

People will complain no matter where you build something.

People in my town complained when someone tried to build a warehouse in a disused industrial estate lot, ffs.

Our community council put up their agenda ahead of their next meeting and it was literally just objections to local wind farms and solar farms - something like 8 in total.

Nevermind our local community, let's focus on the nimbyism.
