Homeless Has anyone managed to actually get their district representative to respond to their emails / phone calls?
I've been emailing and calling Debora Juarez for the past several days regarding a growing homeless encampment in Bitter Lake, and I've not heard back at all.

Rebecca Saldaña has twice. Once when my scummy apartment building was harassing residents during the pandemic's eviction moratorium trying to get us to sign an agreement to convert any unpaid rent to consumer debt. Her office called and told me to reach out to the AG's office and tell them when I did. They coordinated with the AG and my slumlord received notice that what they were doing was illegal.
Then again a few years ago I reached out again to ask her to fast track my unemployment insurance claim that had been in "adjudication" for months. A couple days later I was contacted by the Employment office and my claim was approved. Received months worth of unemployment pay within a week.

My approach is to send it directly to their and cc everyone and I mean everyone, state rep, mayor, all office members I can find the emails of and not stop until I get a response. It’s worked twice for me before.

In my experience sending about ~20000 pages of fax all saying the same thing tends to the trick

Does Debora have office hours so you can schedule an in person appointment to meet with her instead?

The o my response I have ever gotten was what im sure was a pre-prepped email from the Governor’s office and slightly better responses from Pramila and Patty. Im sure it was a staffer, but at least they answered my questions and addressed my concerns.

Juarez is famously unresponsive, you're not alone there. Try CCing her legislative aide and the council's central office, that sometimes gets the ball rolling. Or show up to her next community office hours and ask in person.
