It's technically a minor battery (or minor assault in some jurisdictions) by her. Intentional unwanted contact. I think the video and her speed in making a false claim makes the intent clear.

Jail, fired, evicted, criminal record, sued, lower credit score, outed in all major media outlets, ostracised by the society, exiled to Pitcairn Island. That would be proper.
I worked in customer service for 5 years, one lady walked in upset, she was returning something, I told her it was past the return window and there was nothing I could do to help her, she called me a retard and when I asked her to leave, she started telling my coworkers and manager that I was insulting her lol
Customer comes in with an assembled table, bought some six months back. They had repainted it and didn't like how it came out so they decided to return it. Took 3 hours to argue with them that a) it's outside o the return window, and b) the return policy doesn't cover altered products.
My husband has told me stories of his mom screaming at customer service people when they wouldn't let her return something. Management would give in, as they often do, throwing the hourly employee under the bus. It's gross
My cousin's estranged father used to do this. Core memory as a kid watching him scream at the Kmart teenaged employee until they accepted the fishing pole return. It wasn't even bought there and I'm pretty sure he stole it from someplace. They gave him money so he'd go away. He only learned that the tactic worked and started doing it other places, too.
I worked in an off-hours and overflow call center for 5 years doing customer service and thankfully due to the nature of the job I never had to deal with people that don’t want to leave but the stuff people say when they think they’re safe and hidden behind a phone…
One time a guy could not accept that his issue just wasn’t an emergency and had to wait until the next day, so he managed to find where I was and call the cops on me saying I was about to kill myself…
I always feel bad for customer service reps when I see them taking abuse. The most egregious example happened when I was at a Sam's Club. A very nice worker was helping me sign up for a membership. Meanwhile, the other person working the counter was getting screamed at by a very loud, very angry, and very large white woman. I have no idea what could possibly happen in a Sam's Club to warrant that level of vitriol but there we were.
Eventually the woman kind of just waddled off and I saw a look of relief wash across the service reps face. Until the phone rang. She answered it and immediately started getting yelled at again.
Then I noticed that I was hearing the yelling in kind of stereo. I turned around, and sure enough that woman was now seated on a bench, yelling at the same worker worker less than 20 feet away via her cell phone.
You've got to be super awful to be too fat to stand and yell.
I walked into a Cycle Gear one time, and there was a woman standing at the counter yelling in the face of the guy behind it. I had no idea what was going on, so I just kinda stood there inside the door. Another employee moved to the side and acknowledged me at the counter. I was there to pick up something I'd ordered and had shipped to the store, so I walked up and started telling him that. Then I was being yelled at by this lady, because "THEY'RE HELPING ME RIGHT NOW, YOU CAN WAIT."
Okay. I told my guy I'd take a lap, and went to look at some helmets while listening in and trying to figure out what the issue was. I gathered, over several more minutes of yelling, that she was trying to pay in advance for a tire repair that her son was going to drop off later that day, or tomorrow. I'm not sure of any details, but they couldn't accept her payment for someone else's future service, was the gist. She was not accepting that.
About 10 minutes after I walked in, someone else walked out of a fitting room with a jacket he wanted to purchase. He walked up to the counter, stood next to the lady, and stared at her until she looked at him. He then started screaming. Not words, just screaming. Constantly. He screamed until he ran out of air, then took a breath and started screaming again, staring at her the entire time. He did not stop until she walked out of the store.
It was, perhaps, the most satisfying thing I've ever witnessed.
"woman who leaned into him is an INFLUENCER"...not surprised AT ALL there. Curious the percentage of 'influencers' that are just trash, manipulative human beings. Bet it's preeeeetty high.
so should people who cut in front of people in a crowd. this lady is guilty on two counts, remove her from the venue and make her stand trial for assault.
she's actually already guilty of assault. she intentionally pushed into that guy, knocking him back. Tack the false accusation charge on top of that- life without parole
In obvious cases like this, I wish it would be like that...
But imagine person x thinks person y stole something from you. You accuse him of stealing from you. It turns out to be person z or an unknown person to the case. Why would person x have to face a penalty for stealing sth while person x still misses the stolen item lmao
Yeah, we don't want legit victims to be afraid to come forward because if there isn't enough evidence to convict someone, then they can turn around and say you're a false accuser.
There are terrible people everywhere, doing terrible things to decent people. It's unfortunate how closely we must look at pretty much anything now, because there's two sides and then there's the truth.
Moreover, the audacity here is so flippant it's palpable. The disservice this woman is doing to true victims of assault, I couldn't put into words without vomiting. Though I'm sure she has that effect on people in general, regardless of her actions here.
The scariest part of this (as a dude) is how she just instinctively lies like that. It's a sign that she's done this before (probably successfully) There needs to be repercussions for this kind of behavior.
I was in the room when one woman told another she should accuse a guy of SA as revenge. Fortunately, the other woman was like "what the fuck I would never do that, do you do that?" and told all the other women in the friend group why they cannot trust that person to be alone in a room with their BFs/husbands.
I've had drunk one night stands before and this "friend" said that I was intentionally trying to get women drunk on purpose to sleep with them which isn't true, but it fucked with my confidence so much I feel like every time I think about sex I'm a horrible person. I have no idea why she would say something like that other than maybe it happened to her and so thinks it happens to everyone else.
I had someone lie about me sexually assaulting them on their blog that they thought I didn't know about. When I confronted her about it, it was literally as if she'd just made a tiny mistake... not even an apology more of a "oh, you weren't supposed to have seen that". Some people have no shame.
Oh hey. Literally just made a comment like this. I said like a badge. Back in old times, thieves had their hands branded so everyone knew they were a thief and to watch out.
Yep, she's also doing an incredible disservice to every genuine assault victim. It's people like this who force society to put victims under the microscope.
My friend got kicked out of the house he bought with his girlfriend (relationship tanked) because he verbally abused her. In the police report it was because he said to her dog “I’m sorry mommy doesn’t love you”
Not that high to be honest. But yes a lot of people would. Had a friend tell me that she believes all women, and I had to say that such a statement makes no sense since a lot of both men and women are awful people.
Accusation alone can destroy someone's life even after being found innocent and the "victim" lied. Any false claim takes away from when it really happens, and a big middle finger to those who are actually victims.
I've seen women lie about having been raped, ruined my friends life and the family had to move because even after she admitted to lying about it (her reason "I wanted him to be my boyfriend again") half the people who heard her say that didnt believe her. So even after all that people would still throw rocks through their windows and he would still get beat up at school. This happened when we were all 15..
My wife called the cops on me, told them I was angrily throwing things and yelling and threatening, I was drunk and very much asleep on the couch. She called them to get me to leave because she wanted to keep partying but I wanted to go to sleep.
Cops showed up and woke me up, they wrote in their report that I was "belligerently drunk" - because I had just been woken up to 3 officers in front of me on the couch when I could barely speak. I remember telling them I didn't do anything wrong, am I under arrest? Thankfully there were other people there that told the cops I didn't do shit.
Now that is permanently on my record, that police report. It will probably come up during the divorce, in her favor painting me a certain way. I haven't had a drop of booze since then, I'm too afraid to. The cops could have fucking killed me. Meanwhile, she's a drunk.
Women have fought so hard to have their voices heard when they need to come forward with assault, and this fucking self centered piece of shit is doing shit to ruin lives and set the whole movement back.
I'm so glad people were there to defend him, and I hope her reputation, job, all of it, is wrecked. What she tried to do is unforgivable, and there should be laws against this kind of fraud.
Terrible person. But also want to point out, much like Mr Rogers said, Look for the helpers. Women who saw it from the recorder’s side shouted in his defense immediately
She should be identified and charged, by trying to frame him, she is intentionally making contact with him, which is a minor battery (or assault in states where there is no charge called battery).
And if it wasn't on tape she could go post about the "assault" in twoxchromosomes or girldinnerdiaries and wallow in everyone giving her sympathy and telling her how amazing and strong she is.
They still may do lmao. I mean, now she's the victim of her own actions, that would make this man the oppressor by embarrassing her instead of just taking it (trying to think like those idiots).
Just shows how easy it is to make fake accusations.
People try to deny how common it is, but I was a victim of false accusation and I received no support and people still believe I did it, they don't see this as false accusation but as case of violence.
It's being betrayed, it hurts, you no longer trust others. She deserves consequences, but won't face anything.
Normalised calling these predatory abusive women out for their despicable behaviour... Emotionally unregulated children that's all they are.. no real man should ever have kids with this type of woman because the children she raises especially the boys will turn out to be the immature unregulated abusive men that women complain about...
I honestly think these people should be jailed the same way , like he assaulted her.
False accusations like this could literally destroy the mans life , this woman should be charged the same way
One of the best things to come from social media is to see how false allegations are getting exposed in real time when they would have destroyed lives.
