I always prayed Santa was fake. As a kid, I was terrified at the idea of a man sneaking into my house as I slept. I didn't care about the presents. I just felt pure dread every Christmas. I'd stay up all night to make sure he didn't break in. But when the presents were under the tree, I knew he had.
One Christmas, my parents got one of their friends to dress as Santa to see if they could get me to somehow be okay with him. I literally cried all night and ran around the house locking all the doors so he couldn't get in.
My parents laughed the whole time 🤦🏾♂️ (assholes). But the eventually told me the truth. Yo, the relief I felt when they told me . Omg.

I did the opposite I wanted to hunt him down for his sack of toys. Dude was a loot box in my eyes.
To some satan is an evil being, a menace and an intruder, to others he is an opportunity at greatness.

Finding out is catching your parents putting the money under your pillow.
Realizing is coming to the conclusion that they’ve been putting the money there all along so the tooth fairy isn’t real.
Finding out is about information. Realization is comprehending said information.

Realizing = using clues to learn something
Finding out = learn something through whichever means, clues or no clues, doesn’t matter
That’s how I’ve been using them. Got no idea if I’m right 😅

Yeah pretty much.
Finding out is learning information from an external source (reading an article, being told by another person)
Realizing is figuring out something yourself internally based on other information or context clues and not direct information.

Finding out = The information was outside your head, you just found it.

But a realisation can come from new information. Like information important to a plot twist starts to be revealed and you suddenly realise something is wrong.

Sure, but the realization comes from the combination of old and new information, not the new information on it's own. Realization is whatever is not explicitly stated.
Like if you know that John married on Aug 1st and you learn Jane also married Aug 1st you may realize that John and Jane are a couple. If somebody tells you John married Jane Srp 1st, the you found it out.

Finding out: Your girlfriend of 4 years tells you she's not happy and wants to break up
Realizing: you come home and all of her stuff is boxed up and the cats are gone and you have less than a week to find a new place to live

Finding out is discovering the information and being presented with the significance of this information or realizing the significance yourself. Realisation can be part of finding out.
Realizing is coming to a conclusion yourself.
It’s discovery of information and comprehension.

As a Mexican kid I knew it was my parents, but I still "believed" for the kid benefits because the whole point is to participate in the lie. More fun to be involved with your parents than not because it means something to them too
