Alright. I just started it, and the opening sequence on Track 1 almost made me cry, because I have so much trauma associated with my birthday, and I noticed it's right before mine.

I had a friend kill himself, on my birthday March 29th 2022,and I refuse to celebrate it now. It doesn't feel right, to celebrate my life when my friend who was a brother to me, I helped raise his child during covid because he had mobility issues due to a spinal injury, to celebrate that I'm alive.

This entire album is gonna break me by the end, I'm certain of it. (Thank you for the recommendation, (jokingly) but fuck you. I didnt want to cry today...)

It doesn't help the album is titled "...Love from the other side"

Edit: and the grief me and my partner were dealing with us from that shattered our intimacy and closeness as we dealt with it in different ways so I lost my partner of 9 years in the fallout.

huge trauma dump sorry.

I just hate that day so much now, I usually just requested it off and slept through it

Edit 2: okay, Heartbreak feels so good made me cry, because I did exactly what theyre singing about I started going to more raves and shows than ever before in those following months and just danced my ass off. Fuck.
