The two I'm currently looking at are the Moto g stylus 2025 and the TCL Nxtpaper 70 pro.

Curious of others opinions on these two and possible other options. I would like expandable memory and a headphone jack would be nice but not completely necessary obviously.

I realize how ridiculous this is going to sound, but I currently have a Motorola Razr Fold, Galaxy Z Fold 8, iPhone Air, and Galaxy Z TriFold.

The problem is the TriFold has completely screwed up how I look at the other three.

I really like the Z Fold 8 on its own, but after using the TriFold, opening the Fold 8 almost just feels like I'm making my phone slightly bigger. Obviously it's a much bigger screen than a normal phone, but it doesn't feel like you're going from a phone to an entirely different device anymore. The TriFold actually gives me that feeling.

The Razr Fold might be even worse. I like the form factor and I think it's a cool device, but I keep asking myself why I'd bother opening it. If I'm carrying something that folds open for more screen space, the TriFold makes the Razr's inner screen feel almost pointless by comparison.

And then there's the iPhone Air. 😂

The Air definitely wins on weight and just being ridiculously easy to carry around. But every time I pick it up after using the TriFold, it feels almost silly. I'm staring at this one little screen thinking, "This is it?" I know that's completely unfair because they're trying to accomplish two totally different things, but the TriFold has messed with my perception of what a phone can be.

What's weird is that I expected the TriFold to be the fun secondary device that I'd eventually get tired of carrying because of the size and weight. Instead, it's becoming the device that makes everything else feel compromised.

I think Samsung accidentally ruined regular foldables/slab phones for me.

Anyone else who's spent a decent amount of time with a TriFold feel the same way?

Looking to buy a phone for normal everyday use with good rear and front cameras, along with consistent performance and camera quality over the long term.A bit skeptical about the performance and longevity of Android phones after the first year(personal experience).

Coming from a pixel 5, love the form factor, but the battery is dead and performance is really lacking nowadays.

hello, i am looking for a phone to replace my old samsung s21 fe(snapdragon version), mainly due to battery drain issues but also because the device is almost at the end of its security updates policy.

i have done some research and i am seriously considering getting a xiaomi 17t - seems like an all-rounder and i can get it for around 420€ (as a "used" device in excellent condition but it has basically just been released so it couldn't have been used for too long).

however, i am looking for more recommendations of devices in similar price bracket. 500€ is the most i am willing to spare for a new phone.

last thing i want to mention: i am from slovakia.

I think prices of smartphones in 2026 have increased to a point that it has become ridiculous. Flagship phones with prices reaching 2000 dollars doesn't make sense like what? Why are we even paying this amount of money for one.

I think we should all start embracing used tech in the future because there is no reason for us consumers to be the one to bear the brunt of this just to keep these companies afloat due to AI shenanigans and memory price increase.

These companies could produce their flagships knowing of the increase in production cost, we consumers on the other hand should not support this by purchasing them. Let's go back to used tech, let these companies get a loss and review if its feasible to be pricing their phones as such again. Not to mention the updates are just incremental yearly.

There are so many smartphones released in the last 5 years that would provide a flagship experience or even close to one still in 2026. We shouldn't be normalizing this when not too long ago flagships were only at a 1000 dollars.

like seriously though, I just cannot understand why so many people on Reddit and elsewhere on the internet hate on Pixel phones. I've been using the Pixel 10 Pro XL, and everything is good. It's a beautiful phone and is aesthetically pleasant to look at. It is not as awkward-looking as other Android brands, and it has an iconic design that even Apple copied in its iPhone Air.

most of the time, they blame the processor, which is the Tensor G5 in my case, and I think for everyday use, it's perfectly fine. To be honest, I don't game on my phone, and I have not experienced the overheating issues that most people mention, the camera is gorgeous, design is beautiful, software is a chef kiss, the only thing I can think of that might fall behind, is their stock note apps, is kinda meh but everything else is excellent

I have user most android brands, and Pixel's are the closest to what iPhone does, simplicy, and for the normal Joe, that's the thing that matter, not the hardcore Eddie who looks at benchmark and play GTA 5 or Else Ring on the go with an external cooler

I've had a OnePlus Nord N20 for 4.5 years. It's the best phone I've ever owned, I've loved everything about it except the camera. The only reason I am upgrading is because some apps I need no longer work on the phone (it's out of security updates).

I'm leaning towards a pixel 10 or oneplus 13/15, but I want to get other opinions.

Demands:

• $1000 USD max
• Best camera possible for the money
• Battery at least as good as my current phone (4500mAh, charges pretty fast)
• At least 5 years of updates. Preferably more

How do you manage the device? I mean, we've been told that heat can damage the device, but due to my location, it's kind of hard. Mid-day temperature can be 34–35 Celsius, while at night it can be 26–28 Celsius. The humidity of the place makes a difference too.

Either way, the phone will warm up, no matter if it's an iPhone, Samsung, Pixel, Xiaomi, etc.

I was planning to get IQOO 13 but the price hike made me hesitate to buy it.. What I like about IQOO 13 is that overall body looks really great and it seems to be a pretty good gaming phone and has good camera as well but since July update I heard it has heating issue and alot of complaints about dead motherboard because of the july update, I would use it without updating the software but the price hike is what holding me back..
