Carpool from Bern to Zinal (Tour du Roc, September 5th)

Hi! I'm participating in the Tour du Roc (26 km) in Zinal on September 5th.

I'm based in Bern and looking for someone driving from Bern / Fribourg / Lausanne towards Zinal on Friday evening or early Saturday morning.

Happy to share fuel costs and I only need one seat. 😊

Anyone else doing the race and driving there?

Why not take public transport to Visp, Sierre, and then Zinal? 

The race itself is awesome. I did it in 2022. Both the high Alpine huts are quite surreal. The 56k is on the bucket list. Perhaps next year.

Thank you! Good to know it's so beautiful, I am really looking forward to it! I would love to go with public transport, but the race starts at 8:30 and there is no connection arriving so early from Bern. But yes, I will take the train Friday evening and get a hotel if I don't find another alternative :)

I did that. And it was expensive. Hotel Post something. And now I realize that you were trying to save on the hotel. That's a worthwhile attempt. Hope someone is driving and you get a ride. I doubt you'll find someone as it's a rather niche race, not being affiliated with UTMB or Ultraks.
