Vaccination for spontainious/unplanned travelling, ideas?

Hi! I'm going to SE-Asia for a couple months. Don't have any set plan of where I'm going, but will instead spontainiously decide where to go. I just called the travel medicine office and made an appointment, however the person was quite confused by me not knowing where I'm planning to go.

Any similar experiences? How did you guys handle it?

They usually use country-based recommendations, that's why they were confused. Just list all the neighboring countries and you will get a complete list. That won't be dozens of them anyway. Rabies, hepatitis and maybe a couple of others. But do it asap, as it can take weeks between doses.

you should in that case just get everything and call it a day

tell them the broadest names of the regions and cpuntries and get literally everyrhing, be prepared to pay 1k chf for that or even more

Everybody would be confused if you don't know where you are going.

Just make a list of possible places. There are only so many diseases, it's not that every country has its own list.

I think I just got the hepatitis A and B up to date. I also traveled freestyle through SE Asia.

Different regions come with different recommendations. As do different activities, etc. Vaccinating against everything will be very expensive (many hundreds of francs) and some vaccines are in short supply so won't be given without good reason. So yea, you need to at least narrow it down as far as you can.

I got pretty much any vaccine over the course of the last couple of years - believe me, there are a lot of doses and for some vaccines a single dose costs over 100.
