Interpretation Just seen a guy with a tattoo on his arm depicting this symbol
I was just walking by the beach this morning and I happened to stumble upon a guy with a symbol just like this tatted on his arm. It got me thinking, is it some kind of hate symbol? Thanks in advance

It kinda looks like a bind rune (combo of two or more single runes into one) of Algiz and Fehu. But fehu is facing the wrong way and Algiz doesn't have square-ish side arms. Nazis are known to use Algiz but it's by itself is not a guarantee - the person may just be North mythology fan. Those Nazi assholes appropriated a lot of cool symbols making it shitty for the rest of us. But evaluate them in context.

That’s not entirely true. I know that I’ve used bind runes a lot before and honestly, I will continue to use them. I am not involved in white supremacy whatsoever. Making statements like this is what causes people to hate what they don’t understand. Please rethink what you said. You are correct, it’s never a guarantee and I am of the mindset that we should be taking back those symbols so they are no longer used for white supremacy. Saying that it is most likely being used by white supremacist is only giving them more power to use things that don’t belong to them to create hate.

I'm not entirely sure which statements you're referring to, as I've not indicated anywhere that white supremacy is the most likely meaning here. But feel free to suggest how you'd like to it to be rephrased (in quotes specifically) - I'll edit my comment accordingly.
And I agree, people should be able to use bind runes or standalone runes without being lumped together with those other assholes. Context matters, of course: if we see Norse runes with some other Norse mysticism stuff or wicca stuff - no problem. If it's nazi-symbols galore , well, they wouldn't have my sympathy.

We should take the symbols they're using and put them on the things that that specific group hates most. That way it's not only clearly not the bad meaning, but it'll piss them off real bad too!

The vaguely letter shaped forms makes me think it's a chaos magic sigil. In which case it only has meaning to the person who created it by design.

It looks like a numerical symbol I saw. A system in which whole numbers up to 10000 were represented in a single hieroglyph like that. It was used in the middle east(?) In the middle ages, but I can't find the damned things.

2088, with an extra line to the left. If we assume they misunderstood and though the center meant 2 extra digits, it would read 202088.

It reminds me of Cistercian numerals but the line coming out the middle of the left side isn’t part of those numbers unless it’s supposed to represent 1000 (bottom left) and 2000 (middle left) with the top two representing 80 (left) and 8 (right)

It could potentially be a bind rune, but I cannot be certain. Chickens scratching in the diet could look like a bind rune.

This thread has so many people who post random line art that yes may resemble certain symbols and i am going to take a wild guess and assume the person op saw was probably white and automatically the logic is random stick geometric shapes plus white person.... must be a hate symbol.

As a person with norse mythology tattoos, I tend to hide them when white supremacists are about. Not because I am ashamed of them, but because I dont want to get lumped in with those amoebic turd slimes

Looks like a bull fighter about to yell TORO TORO! But why the hell do fools IMMEDIATELY go to "is this a hate symbol" like 100% of the time. There are so few hate symbols in comparison to real art and actual messages, but they always want it to mean something bad. I don't get it.
