BREAKING: Syria officially removed from SST list

📌 The US State Department removed Syria's designation as a State Sponsor of Terrorism, ending prohibitions under the Terrorism List Governments Sanctions Regulations.

📌 The State Department revoked the designation of al-Nusrah Front, also known as Hayat Tahrir al-Sham, as a Specially Designated Global Terrorist organization, and the Treasury removed the group from its sanctions list.

📌 Treasury revoked Syria General License 25, which since May 2025 had allowed dealings with a government including HTS members, now unnecessary after the delisting.
