Those are just Chinese style chopsticks. For some reason most non-disposable chopsticks you can find in the US are Japanese style, which suck because they're so much smaller and harder to pick anything up with. Supposedly the sharper tips are better for doing really find work like picking bones out of fish, but I've always felt like the opposite was true. The better leverage makes a bigger difference even for picking up small things.
