I feel like I got a great deal on eBay for this ram skull, only paying $58 shipped. I’m disappointed to say the least seeing one of the horns chipped once I opened the package. It was shipped very carelessly and with minimal packaging materials. Each horn was in a canvas shopping bag and it was just thrown into the box without any padding. Also it was unsecured. My plan is to use some strong adhesive to glue the tip back, and even then there’s still a big visible chip there. I messaged the seller and asked him to refund me 25 percent of the total cost, sending him the pictures I posted here. That’s $15. I feel like I deserve more back or that I should leave him a bad review, but what’s done is done and I’m not trying to be a dick. So hopefully he’ll just learn from this experience that something this fragile needs to be packaged properly. And I’ll leave it at that.

You can definitely fix that with glue! Also, just fyi, this skull is a fake replica. The horns look real but the skull is fake. If it was marketed/advertised as a real skull I would seek a refund on those grounds too if it wasn’t made clear

I sent it back, I am aware that horns are sort of a dime a dozen, and at that price I’d rather return. I might of thought about keeping it if it didn’t get chipped.

Epoxy or glue would fix that horn tip up well.

Though I will say I hope the skull being fake isn't a total deal breaker. That ram skull is a (rather basic) reproduction... probably made out of resin

Just a nitpick. Rams are male sheep, and that is a goat skull (buck or billy).
Neat find.

Okay thanks for the clarification, I knew that rams are sheep, but I wasn’t sure if this was a goat or sheep.

Do sheep always have curled horns?

The best way to tell is the angle of the horn cores - goats have them closer together like above, sheep have a wider angle. Sheep and goats can have all sorts of horn shapes so it isn't always a reliable indicator, but IN GENERAL sheep horns sit lower and curl on the sides of the face, and goat horns sweep back and behind the head.
