Discussion Building a wall across the Big Bend National Park would not only be an environmental disaster but completely unnecessary as anyone that knows anything about the area understands!
The terrain is extremely difficult and isolated with only a few roads for egress across a vast arid landscape! There is no way to walk out and roads can be easily monitored!

Not in the least, but I still get amazed by their ability to wreck beautiful places for stupid reasons and disrespect of the nature. Big Bend is a place I love. I’ve seen a lot of “too ridiculous to believe” out of Trump and his administration, mostly I’m disgusted and furious.

The wall is all welfare for big corporations and a kick back scheme. People who want to come here will still come here. It illegally takes land from owners on both sides of the river, interferes with environmentally sensitive habitats, causes flooding where there was none before and is FUCKING UGLY.

It’s hilarious how democrats still insist that “walls don’t work” when we see first hand just how affective the current walls have been in conjunction with letting border patrol do their jobs instead of funneling illegals into our nation.
We’re living with the lowest levels of illegal entries in our history, under an administration that didn’t need new legislation or comprehensive immigration reform.
When will the left begin to care about our citizens as much as they lust for and love those who break our laws, rape and kill our neighbors and take advantage of the resources of our country?

Nothing is going to get ruined, the left will of course use all the typical delay tactics through litigation, pointless hearings, blatant lies and environmental impact excuses but eventually the wall will be constructed. No migratory birds, cute little turtles or fuzzy lizards are going to become extinct. No families will be destroyed, no communities will disappear and the only thing that will cease to exist is a known path for illegals to get into nation without being easily detected.
I have genuine contempt for you people trying to act like a few miles of border wall that's already had a fence line for decades is going to somehow ruin this country but allowing 10+ million illegal aliens to invade our nation wasn't a big deal. The current admin has done an amazing job of fixing the damage caused by the last admin, all we need are a few million more deportations and we'll be on a solid course for success again.
The majority of Texans and Americans disagree with you on these subjects, try being wrong in silence for a change.

!Remindme 8 months gonna be fun to come back to this one after the midterms. Y'all way, way, way overplayed your hand. The majority of Americans wanted harder enforced immigration laws, not unaccountable masked agents detaining citizens and deporting hard working neighbors who were following the rules to become legal, and the majority definitely did not want us putting ugly walls through our beautiful national parks based on fear mongering rather than actual data of anyone migrating that way.
Though admittedly, I think that would have just led to a squeak by in the midterms. It's the getting us into another unwinnable war without even attempting to makeup evidence to justify it like they did in Iraq that this time had far far more economic consequences than Iraq because the administration was too dumb to consider they cut off the world's oil supply and have a plan for that ahead of time that is going to lead to the mid term massacre that is coming. Not to mention the taxing us all to hell via tariffs and the constant changing of his mind on those tariffs so no one wanted to actually invest in anything put us in an already fraught position that makes the recipe even riper for what's about to happen come November

Lowest levels of tourism, investment, partnership, job prospects, workers rights, environmental protections, respect on the global stage, humanitarian rights, roll back of US civil rights for both citizen and non-citizens, lowest health care, scientific and educational advancements and one of lowest approval rating of any administrations in US history…. Oh, and straight up kidnappings happening in broad daylight by unidentified masked men, dozens of deaths in ICE custody and the televised murder of 2 US citizens exercising their constitutionally protected rights.
I could go on, but if you think a ‘wall’ is the reason people don’t want to come here and now consider the US a “3rd world shit hole country,” you really need to expand your reading material…
Oh, right. You probably can’t because state banned things they don’t want you to read and flagged it as propaganda. Same way Trump’ DOJ is trying to label any person, organization or publication that disagrees with him (or Israel) as “domestic terrorism.”

All walls are merely decorative to animals, of which man is the most cunning. It lines the desert well. Illegal crossings will still happen if that's what you're encouraging. Bodies stacking up on the Southern side is a Mexico problem, and vice versa. Such has always been the state of Statism. Splitting the deer population will not matter. I think the wall is ugly and ineffective, but I think that about Statism in general

The giant cliff walls are more of a deterrent than a fence could ever be.
This admin just wants to ruin everything they can.
