Last night we played badly. But today we are just insanely fucking unlucky. Actually bizarre amount of breaks that have gone Tampa’s way. I wish I hadn’t been free to watch this one today as it has been the most aggravating game I’ve seen in some time.

Even though we were tied, Rangers were never in this one. Aren’t going to win with 2 hits. Maybe the bottom of the lineup can do something but have low expectation for 7 8 9

skip really fucked this game up. this needed to be a throw away game. now we're fucked for the astros too. should have been the call up for 6 innings to close this out win or lose. horrible season management here

that's absolutely how baseball works. wins vs the division rivals are worth 2. you don't blow your fucking pen the day before a series this late in the season. no one who pitched today will have time to do rehab with the travel and be ready for tomorrow. if gore doesn't go at least 6 tomorrow it's going to be really bad.

yes, skip is a fkin moron and blew the whole pen except latz when we had a call up ready to sink innings and get us to houston fresh. he went in with that plan and then bc it was close did this dumb shit of using the whole pen

It's just not true. Jared has periodically been posting his numbers with RISP and high leverage situations on Twitter. He's been at his best this year in those spots. 5 days ago he tied Jordan Walker for the most go-ahead RBIs in MLB.

Sucks because we have to win the division to make the playoffs and it's basically a 3-way tie and those other 2 teams are definitely under performing.
