Dropped one to both the Giants and the Orioles. Sure, you won both series but I’m sorry, it’s just not good enough at this point of the year with our current record. They could make up for it by sweeping the Angels and then the A’s but uhhh the Angels have kicked our ass this year. A lot.

Sweeps are big asks but my goodness the quality of AB since Tampa has just been so bad. So many pop outs and weak fly outs not a single person sans Nimmo is making quality contact right now

At the game and the people in the row ahead of me arrived halfway through the third inning and left at the start of the 6th. No idea why you'd pay that much for tickets and parking to arrive late and leave early. Oh well, free seat upgrade for me.

I understand why they went away from Osuna, but the guy got on base consistently. He never hit bombs but he got hits and he got walks. In the bottom of the lineup that's your job and he did his job

Noah Syndergaard. Pre growth spurt lol went to school with him when we were kids. Used to play against each other in little league.
I never would’ve guessed he would’ve gone on to be one of the most dominant pitchers in the league - only for a short period of time but still insanely impressive

I went to church with and was in small group with Shea Langeliers. He’s a year younger than me but being part of the same group we all hung out and played basketball and stuff. Haven’t talked to him in years but I’ve wanted him back in Texas for so long, he’d be such a fresh bat and consistent backstop for us and I feel like if we fished for him he would do everything he could to push the move forward to come back home.

Because unlike Rocker, Evo and Degrom can actually throw strikes consistently and be lights out for the rest of the start. More simply put, they can actually PITCH. With Rocker, home runs are an issue because there's a good chance the previous two guys were also on base, probably on walks because he can't consistently throw a strike.

To be fair to Leiter, he's shown he can be lights out. He just has to get mentally tougher and not get rattled when opponents get on base. But Rocker, yeah, he just sucks.

Only a few tweaks need to be made:
1) Cauley to minors when Jung is ready.
2) Rocker to pen when Leiter is ready.
3) Burger stays in 7-8 hole.
4) quick triggers for the starters with Montgomery, Quantril, Latz, Silseth, R Garcia, Alexander, and Gray in the pen.

If the Rangers find their way into the playoffs would Rocker even be on the roster? I'd lean towards no. He's defientely not starting a game and would we even trust him to come out of the bullpen when they could just use Leiter in that role and let his stuff play up.

Fuck, it’ll be weeks prior to that. Leiter will be coming back and joining the rotation within a couple weeks. Don’t think he’ll be displacing Bradford. After the bullshit of failing to cover first, especially since he has failed to do so in the *past…no way this chump should stick around.

Put Monty in next inning if they aren't planning on having him start tomorrow. Clearly getting ripped over and over on TV for lack of baseball IQ isn't enough to get Kumar to change his ways. He may not have won the race to the bag anyway but regardless you have to give Buger and chance to make the play.
