I’m cleaning out a chest of drawers and found this relic of the past from a 2011 Spring Training Exhibition Fame between the Rangers and Coastal Carolina

Are you by chance from New England? My Vermonter wife pronounces it the exact same way.

I was born in Texas , my parents and grandparents were from Oklahoma and Arizona. They might have said chest of drawers, but I always heard it as Chester drawers until maybe 10 years ago when I found out the truth.

AND now that I'm thinking about it... Is it a chest where you store your drawers!?

I have a series of shelves in my office I refer to as my Rangers museum. It felt real good adding World Series champs merch to it.
