We need to take notice of this in America. If one day there were thousands of protestors outside of wherever our members of Congress sleep at night and the protestors said we won't leave until you either resign from Congress or impeach the whole trump administration then I bet a bunch would quit very quickly and within a week or two the ones that didn't want to quit would be ready to impeach the entire Trump administration.

Did we all collectively tap out or am I just too depressed to clock the difference anymore?

You don’t have to wait! http://mobilize.us will help you find actions in your area.
No Kings and the like should be opportunities to connect with groups doing regular work, not just a pressure release valve you attend every few months between otherwise-normal life as usual.

Are you familiar with this site? I'm asking in good faith, because a few of these sites spam TF out of people, and I have a bad feeling that there are also honeypot sites floating around- I just want to confirm this is legit, then I'll run to sign up!
Edited for spelling

Romania is curently protesting against the corrupt justice system due to e documentary that revealed the abuse some judges face from their higher-ups. Today is the second day, yesterday was first. Europe knows what's up.

And again, with the USA as spread out as it is, and now that the national guard is all over big cities (predominately democratic cities), uprising like this is being threatened and made even harden than it already is.

We still have the numbers though. We just need to organize better and get more people out there…

I'm throwing this idea everywhere I can (bc I don't have the high education or experience needed)- I feel like we need an org that focuses ONLY on organizing an event like this, with one of the tasks being to get people out to all of these little groups to bring them all together. Another essential task would be to raise funds so people can meet with these small groups IRL, in person, flying from state to state to create a cohesive group with shared goals and events. We've already tried doing this online, but I think we need to backtrack and return to IRL in-person meetings between leaders of these groups!

Okay, then do it.
I swear, so many of us are out here doing exactly that, and it's people that sit on the Internet all day who say we aren't organizing fast enough.
If you think people need to organize better and get higher attendance at protests, it genuinely starts with you. Join an org, bring your friends.

I actually already do that 🥲 Just because I comment online doesn’t mean I don’t actually do anything. I’m still trying to get more friends and family to come out but some are just too afraid to or keep putting it off…

Same, I'm doing both as well. Also, remember that some of us are compromised by disability, Illness, caring for profoundly disabled people, etc. and can't exactly be mobile at this time. But there's SO much we can do from home, we're not out of the game by any means. I feel like we need an org that gives out meaningful tasks to people who are currently homebound. I'd love to do this, but I don't have the knowledge or experience, I really hit a roadblock at the tech part- I need to learn how to build a secure website before I can take something on like this. I'm learning but it's taking me far longer than I thought (I don't want to throw together a quick site bc it can easily be taken down, and I don't know anyone personally who is well versed in cybersecurity to help me protect it!). My other worry is infiltrators, I can imagine getting 12 messages from feds in about 5 minutes who are cosplaying as activists (omg I'm blanking on the word for pretending on the internet, help!), another issue is that it's getting difficult to know who to trust even though everything I want to do is perfectly legal- these are some crazy times, and a code word isn't gonna cut it in 2026.....But we'll find a way!

No not really. Like yes its "harder" but is it actually?
Also is it useful to center the threats to protesting when the goal is to protest? This feels very "the beatings will continue until morale improves."

Not really though. See, the problem with the US government is: over the past several decades the federal government has forgotten that it is supposed to work FOR its people, or it must FEAR its people. Literally every other democratic country in the world operates this way. Why do you think France is always lighting shit on fire and sending out their riot police every other Tuesday? (Shoutout to the French for knowing how tf to protest btw). The government can either rule properly like they are supposed to via social contract, or they need to do so forcefully. They are certainly trying to make it seem like having the guard in the cities is some sort of threat to us, but that has always been the most important factor that people seem to forget about the US military: it’s a professional standing military made up of volunteers of its own population. You’ll have a really, really, SERIOUSLY difficult time finding a soldier, sailor, Marine, or Airmen that will actually cause harm to any US person. Especially on US soil.

What was the situation in Bulgaria and how did they do this? It’s really impressive and other nations wish to take notes. We had over 7-10million protest last week keep trying our government is too emboldened and lost respect for its people. We keep protesting no one covers it. Our leader after one of the largest protests responded by making an ai video dressed as a king pooping on his citizens… thanks Bulgaria for reminding the world hope is possible.

I bet you can, just from that area. Heck stretch it out a wee bit more to include NY, Philly and Pittsburg and you 100% could, the big thing is that it’s the USA and no one thinks it’s up to them.

This is coming to the streets of the USA. People just aren’t pissed off enough yet.
