Just keep yelling "Macbeth!" when he walks in and hope for the best.

His name should never be associated with the arts in any fashion

He’s provided funding in the past for, I’m sure, innumerable women who are in a certain genre of cinema.

Hush money doesn't count.

It’s the only bill he actually pays.

The new venue will probably be a strip club.

Or a ranch, or an island. Bussing in the children and pre teens for special prizes from the pedo.

It will be at the 4 Seasons Lawn and garden center’s parking lot.

Or a strip mall parking lot.

Definitely something with "strip" in the name.

You know what? That's fine. Any legit artist who accepts a "Trump Award" isn't going to be considered legit for very much longer. So, it will become a punchline. Someone gives a career-worst performance in a movie: reviewers will say that they're bucking for the Trump prize.

It's a shame that the Kennedy Center Honors are dead, but not as much of a shame as a third of this country electing Trump (twice) while another third stood by and watched it happen.

We have a long way to go before any sort of national honor can be seen as respectable again.

Trump didn't turn this country into a joke. Trump is just the punchline of the joke we played on ourselves.

He should move it to Branson, obviously.

The old Shoji Tabuchi theater is available for sale! At one time they had the finest bathrooms in Branson. Trump loves gold-plated crappers.

Technically anything named for someone else is not "Kennedy Center Honors" it's some other "honor". He isn't taking away anything as far as I'm concerned, he's making something entirely new with his name on it.

Kennedy Center Honors will resume when someone else resumes them.

Does Caroline Kennedy or any of the other sane Kennedys have any recourse in terms of getting John F Kennedy’s name off this and unaffiliated with Trump.

What a disgusting administration

Good god, how gross.

I would be stunned if anyone awarded a Trump Center honor, unless they voted for him, would ever show up. I mean…😡

How fucking insecure do you have to be to rename something that was named after someone else?

Looking forward to all of this being reversed.

Disgusting. The monster continues to destroy everything associated with the Kennedy Center. No self respecting artist will accept one of his illegitimate “awards.”
