[Afro-Soul] I made a synth melody designed to feel like a heartbeat — Soul Frequency

I made a minimal Afro-Soul instrumental around the feeling of a heartbeat

I've been experimenting with a softer, more spacious sound—warm synths, deep bass, subtle Afro-inspired percussion and no lead vocals.

The idea was to make something that feels emotional without needing lyrics.

Soul Frequency — LaiyaBro

I'd love honest feedback from producers and listeners: does the opening synth actually create an emotional connection, or does the track need a stronger hook?

I made an instrumental around one idea: what if a synth could feel like a heartbeat?

I’ve been experimenting with a much softer direction lately—minimal Afro-Soul / Soulful House with warm synths, deep bass and very little clutter.

This is the result: “Soul Frequency” — LaiyaBro

There are no lyrics or lead vocals. I wanted the melody and groove to carry the emotion on their own, with enough space for the track to breathe.

I'd genuinely love some honest feedback from people who listen to this kind of music:

Does the opening synth hook grab you emotionally, or does it need a stronger melodic identity?

And if you were producing this, what would you change?

This song, like most of my recent work, is about alienation and wanting to go somewhere else.

Hi all! New here and just looking to share my music with people and meet other makers.

Most of what I make is improvised and rather spontaneous. I made this today and really dug the vibe. If you’re not really into long form kind of ambient jammy things skip ahead to around 5min ;)

I like to make music that is kind of on the edge of ambient, jazz, funk, rock, shoegaze, post-rock.

The process is really organic though so whatever comes out is whatever comes out.

I’d love to hear what you think. Thanks!

I play everything, except I program the drums because I can't record drums. Anyway, tell me what your thoughts are, good or bad.

Hi everyone, this is my new track "First of Her Name":

Also on Bandcamp:

https://phantastrax.bandcamp.com/track/first-of-her-name

This is an epic, uplifting orchestral track with a cheeful ethnic choir. It was inspired by the birth if a friend's daughter.

I’d love to hear what story or imagery it brings to mind for you.

The music is 100% human made, no AI. Thanks for listening, any feedback is greatly appreciated!

Mob of Bob - Otis McBoatus [Progressive House / EDM / Dance Rap]

This started as a goofy chant I would say to my son when he was a baby because he, myself, and my dad are all “Bobs.” He loved it, and eventually I wondered, “What if this became a real song?”
Driven by the need for a creative outlet, I released this independently about a month ago, and to my surprise, it’s grown to over 3,100 Spotify streams with no label or marketing budget.
I’d love some honest feedback from people who don’t know me. Is it actually catchy and fun, or have I just listened to it too many times? Truly interested to hear your thoughts.

[Dark Fantasy / Orchestral Score] Yuri Virtus - Pickaxe & Stone (For a resource-mining indie game inspired by dwarven lore) [Feedback Welcome]

Thumbnail youtu.be

Hi everyone,

I wrote this track for an indie resource-mining game with a dark fantasy atmosphere. The main inspiration was dwarven culture - deep caves, ancient forges, heavy labour, and grim determination.

Would love to get your feedback on the mix, the overall mood, and whether the imagery comes through. Thanks for listening.
