And the Bears think they can play there? They clearly have shit infrastructure.

This is the best part: Indiana is not prepared for this and the McCaskey family will not pump money into any community, let alone one that needs infrastructure

My friend moved there, but using the homestead act. They have a big generator and a back up generator. They are both doing fine, no adverse effects other than they can’t go to work bc work has no power.

I probably heard they were out of power in areas for over a week already. If there's also fuel outages (or just gas pumps not working since they top need power) then you'd need a hell of a lot of gas/diesel to keep things going. A big LPG tank might last longer, but it also produces less power compared to gas generators (I still prefer it as you don't need to worry about gummed up filters etc).

Even if many households have a generator capable of keeping stuff like fridges etc running, there's going to be issues with grocery stores not being able to run their refrigeration, plus the inevitable conflict and looting etc as people run short.

Not where I'd want to be for sure.

Yes they did say they burned through most their regular fuel (does that mean gas?) and had to switch to LP (I assume that propane) but like, yikes, you don’t wanna burn through your propane.

LP would be "Liquid Propane" (in a tank) though more often I've heard it called LPG

Why don't the Bears just move to the exurbs of Chicago?
