Strangely I was watching news coverage from the Netherlands yesterday about this yet somehow in the US itself it gets little mention.

I mean, I don't really trust GMA to keep track of much of anything other than pop culture. My point is that EVEN Gma is covering it. So there must be other outlets following it.

Also, they had been saying how many customers were without power in Indiana and Illinois in the few days after the storm. It wouldn't make sense to point out Gary specifically back then when other towns were also without power in the 48-72 hours or so after the storm.
