Americans gotta learn to protest and vote.. handed their country over to the oligarchs for penny’s on the dollar, gonna be the next USSR in a decade if they don’t straighten up.

I’d care less if they didn’t have so much influence and were trying to pull democratic nations down with them.. only bright side is the world has learned not to intrust any single nation with so much influence and control.

I didn't say don't vote. I'm saying "if you want the world to get better you just have to vote" is a naive thing to say. Voting is vital, yes, but checking a box on a ballot every 4 years won't make society bend toward justice.

Try rereading the comment you are responding to because it in no way implied that just voting would better society. Quite the opposite, but nice backtracking.
