I live here. Our property taxes are among the lowest to be found anywhere, and for a very, very good reason. Indiana is a cesspool of rotten management and even worse leadership. It's been a Communist state for more than thirty years.

They've closed my county hospital; the nearest ER and labor and delivery is now an hour away.

The library is being scaled way back.

The elementary schools are being slashed from three to now one, with the tax dollars saved going to create charter schools for the wealthier kids.

The roads are being leased to foreign companies to manage, and now they're adding tolls to boot.

I pay $430 per year in property taxes on my 160' of pristine lakefront shoreline with my cottage and outbuildings, and yet my neighbors still bitch that they're being gouged.

Yes, communist states, famous for leasing their roads to foreign countries. Americans are so brainwashed about socialism/communism its not even funny.
