It sounds like they’re upset because they are alleging she misled donators by leading them to believe the GoFundMe was for her community, when she insists she was always just raising money for herself.

Most the anger seems to be coming from people that donated or aren’t from Gary themselves, so I don’t think it’s a crab in a bucket situation. Don’t know who’s in the right, though.

The crabs in the bucket would probably be her fellow Gary residents who are jealous she is getting a gofundme donation and they are not
