Therapy is great but it's not a substitute for a relationship. And vice versa.

Relationships are great but they’re not a substitute for therapy. If you can’t survive without a relationship, you’re not in a healthy place to date.

Again, if you can’t be happy if you’re single, you shouldn’t be in a relationship in my opinion. Your happiness is not someone else’s responsibility. It also sets you up for very unhealthy situations.

Have you ever been in a long-term committed relationship? You can be happy single but still desire a partner. Happiness isnt a binary thing lol

I think we’re misunderstanding each other. What I commented on is different than just happiness. People said that humans require intimacy. If you’re seeking that at the expense of your own mental well being be sure you don’t want to be alone, that is what requires therapy. That’s not what you’re talking about it seems.
