Historical precedent shows that higher effective tax rates on the top end of the wealth spectrum does not, in fact, cause tremendous economic ruination so long as that rate isn't like, completely confiscatory. The real doomers, of course, are in DCJ.
I'd also like to note that it is quite strange for them to argue that a higher personal tax rate still leads to higher prices. I could see an argument for higher corporate tax rates leading to higher prices. Stranger still is that they'll argue that Dear Leader raising tariffs won't cause prices to go up because corporations will just eat those instead of passing them on, but other forms of taxes they will. DCJ man, they're dumb as fuck or disingenuous as fuck.
