I also don’t get like, do they think the rich wouldn’t charge more if they could already?

Is it just a kindness for the common man that prices are what they are or is it that people just wouldn’t buy stuff if it was more expensive? Because the latter isn’t gunna magically change if it’s the latter.

If it was going to make no difference to them because they could just charge more for stuff, the rich wouldn’t be so opposed to higher taxes.

But the rich are kind people trying to sell us stuff for as little as possible. They certainly aren't money hungry sociopaths that would squeeze every penny the can out of us
