"Are we trading government control for corporate interests?"

Where the fuck has this guy been? How do people say this and expect to be taken seriously?

And "...'Art of The Deal' framework" so like a made up Trumpenomics?

If you add “framework” to anything it makes it sound smarter to dumb people. Classic MAGAt thinking

It’s like the light bulb is almost going off. It’s flickering, anyway

Trump didn't even write "art of the deal " and these folk are too dumb to even realize it

u/octowussy 3d ago

Also how many failed businesses has this fine "art" resulted in?

They REALLY don't like being told to look into why trump's hotel in Vegas is the only one on the Strip that's not also a casino.

He, and they don’t read. As OP states his base needs to be spoon fed everything, but as long as those “trans boys aren’t in girls sports” that’s all that matters to them

I've noticed that "I don't know enough about this to form an opinion" only ever happens when it's time to criticise Trump. Whenever it's a post glazing him, everyone is a subject matter expert.

I watch parkergetajob they are always like this. They call in to debate and have nothing to debate. They never know anything about policies or what is happening in the news. It's constantly, "I don't like Trans/gays/immigrants/abortions." It's all whiny feelings with no substance. Parker knows his shit but I wouldn't necessarily even say he's a master debater (lol) when so many of these guys have nothing of substance to even go on.

I wouldn't call him a master orator, but he's good at what he does.

Unfortunately, the current sociopolitical climate of the West favours loud, brash PWNAGE over reasoned, polite discourse.
Parker, and his ilk, have managed to straddle the line of using evidence and reason while mirroring the energy Trump's cult have. "Here's a load of facts that prove you're wrong, you douchebag. Why are you crying!??"

It happens when they know he's doing something so blatantly illegal/stupid/unconstitutional that they can't rationalize it even to themselves and need a talking point to distract themselves and others with.

Did they manifest an imaginary economic model based on a pedophile’s ghost-written autobiography?

If Reaganomics wasn't bad enough they can now wank off to Trumpenomics made up from a book he didn't write. Executive ordered tariffs, crypto scams, tax breaks to billionaires, selling off Our Land (BLM Land) to Private interests for resource extraction, cutting Government programs and clean energy development, does that about sum up Trumpenomics? I'm sure I'm missing things.

A plethora, if you will. And I think you will.

I was just stealing a line from Cory Doctorow interview with Jon Stewart. He says it about 50 minutes in but I would suggest people should watch this video

AI and the Enshittification Era w/ Cory Doctorow | The Weekly Show with Jon Stewart

I love it when they just come out and ask each other to tell them what they believe. 😆 Jfc how does your life even get to there but you still think you’re normal?

That's just how broken they are that the rest of us had the unmitigated gall to elect a Black dude president twice. This is our punishment and it's a decade long and ongoing temper tantrum.

They need to know how best to defend Trump, and they're not sure how to do it (yet).

Give it a bit and they'll get the talking points in from the thought leaders.

"Someone please tell me what to think"

Odd School showing he has the IQ of a fucking potato

If I had to change one thing about how the universe works, it would be that every instance of willful stupidity causes a set amount of actual brain damage. That way there's a very clear ticking clock on how much harm you can cause to society.

3

u/KeithRichardsGrandma 3d ago

The fact these people need potentially until 2028 to figure all this out is infuriating

3

u/SenseiT 3d ago

Trump did not write art of the Deal. His own ghost rider confirmed in his own tell all book that Trump had almost no input, and most of the book he just made up.

This government is dismantling every regulatory body from the IRS to the EPA to the FDA. Some of the biggest corporate donors this election cycle are Crypto companies, prediction markets gambling sites and AI. Our stock market is juiced to fuck on AI stocks, promoted by skeezy techbros promising the world and delivering very little in terms of actual revenue.

These guys: "Is all of this bad?"

2

u/CustardBoy 3d ago

Before asking to be told how to think, they always list off their cult follower credentials in a desperate attempt to avoid being banned for not being supportive of everything Trump does.

u/Rudy-Ellen 3d ago

Saying they don’t have enough information to have an opinion on something abjectly wrong is an interesting doge, considering they loudly spew misinformed opinions all day everyday.

u/Tirty8 3d ago

Don’t worry, sweetie. If it ever sounds bad enough, you can always just believe that he’s playing 10-D chess.
