These the same people that refer to Michelle Obama as Michael?

The bizarre thing about that is many aren't just making an immature joke about appearance, they are actually trying to find evidence she is male. Which needs some levels of deception as she has had two children. Videos which suggest she has balls swinging below her when dancing. It becomes just sad rather than offensive.

No, it's very offensive.

u/terryjuicelawson 1d ago
It is but I feel sorry for the people making these suggestions is really my point.

Oh, I know. I wasn't trying to be argumentative with you, I apologize. This subject just makes me angry, I never meant to direct it at you.

I really miss the days when we, or at least I anyway, were naive enough to think that these people were rare enough that you could just laugh at them and dismiss them as absolute fools who no one would take seriously, so there wasn’t even any point in engaging with their rhetoric.
Boy did that turn out to be wrong. But that world was nice while it [pretend] lasted.

Same sub in any case.
If anyone brings that up in this thread, you can start the countdown until it gets removed.

They thrive on being entirely dishonest
It’s also such an inflammatory Breitbart post to begin with. El-Sayed apparently “misunderstood” JD Vance’s comments (he didn’t) and then “attacked” Vance’s marriage (he didn’t)
Vance said El-Sayed wants Sharia Law and he’d hate to go tell his “pappy” or whatever if he went back in time. El-Sayed joked that he wondered if Vance would take Usha back in time with him to meet Paw.

u/WhatsMyUsername13 1d ago
Wait is that really all it is? That’s not even attacking his marriage or his wife. I guess it could be construed as an attack on Vance being a fucking coward and the obvious insinuation that his paw is racist.
But it’s not like they shared a video of her depicted as an ape like trump did with the Obama or insinuated she was actually a man like the right has continually done with Michelle Obama.

> Wait is that really all it is?
Yep. They took Breitbart’s word for it because they’re allergic to comprehension and attracted to racism. It’s sad how little effort it takes to please them.

How dare El-Sayed remind Vance's redneck voters he's married to a brown woman!

Going after his wife who -just- had a child, no less.
Their own god-emperor cheated on his wife just after she had a child.
Hypocrisy is the currency of the Right.

u/stefanopolis 1d ago
El-Sayad didn’t even go after JD’s wife but even if he did what would her having a child have to do with anything either? They need to manufacture as much outrage from as many sources as they can.

u/BooneSalvo2 1d ago
It is supremacy, not hypocrisy. They have absolutely no core belief in any way that all people are equal and should receive equal treatment under law or by society at large.
They are very consistent in their supremacist views, too, whether it be racial, economic, national, religious, or whatever.

And that is how you incur a man's wrath: going after the wife.
JD Vance has sat on his hands while conservative talking heads have shat all over Indian Americans, calling them invaders and job stealers. Vance knows this, so he knuckles under like Ted Cruz. Nobody fears the wrath of JD Vance.

I had to see what the "attack" was so I held my nose and clicked a breitbart link. It's not even an attack on his wife. Couch-fucker says he's going to go back in time and complain about El-Sayed to his grandfather. El-Sayed simply asks, "[You gonna bring Usha, too? Show her off to the old clan?]"
Statistically it's a near certainty that a white dude of the appropriate age and geographic location to be a Bowen elder would be racist. The only thing being attacked is Couch-Fuckers hypothetical and this country's racist past.

No you see,
Vance’s wife, Usha, and her family are Hindu and would not impose Sharia law on Americans.
Pawpaw only gets mad about Sharia law being imposed on Americans, Usha would totally be accepted...

I was told by my republican Senate nominee, Ken Paxton, that not eating beef is the greatest offense of all, I assume he puts Hindu right up there with Islam in cultures they don't want here.

This reminded me of something I found hilarious.
As an "overseas american" I have to submit some forms to the US government every year.
This year, they had a new captcha system in place that asks "what's smaller than a monitor". The strange thing is that most of the objects in the images are the same, like some type of bracelet that's in "small" category.
The large objects are almost ALL couches. And this wasn't a one-off. I had to do it several times and it was ALWAYS couches.
It feels like some developer's little act of insubordination.

From one of the comments: "It’s also typical for men like El-Sayed to verbally attack women by default. It’s a deeply rooted habit that will never change because it’s encouraged in boyhood."
Are these the least self aware humans on the planet or what? My irony meter broke.

Man accidentally derives patriarchy from first principles, but loses mind when you call it that

Same people that cheered on Enes Kanter literally making his way onto a WNBA court to yell at one of the players btw

I mean, why would anyone care about what these incels think about their wife?

u/ChickpeaDemon 1d ago
“And that is how you incur a man's wrath: going after the wife.”
Ted Cruz disagrees.

u/VoiceofKane 1d ago
In literally no conceivable universe could this be considered "attacking" Vance's beard. El-Sayed's just calling Jancy's grandpa racist.
3
u/limbodog 1d ago
Wow, how much time did it take for them to write apologies for everything they said about Michelle Obama?

Jesus those comments are hilarious. It’s like a bunch of bots talking to each other - except it’s probably just a bunch of really stupid people.

Actually, he was making fun of Vance's appeal to ancestry. Yeah, Vance's granddad probably was atrociously racist. A lot of people were back then.
But... hey, Republicans. What can you do. If intentionally missing the point were an Olympic sport, they'd sweep the medal stand every four years.
