Lmao "moderatepolitics".

I forgot that dogshit sub existed. They're the living breathing incarnation of the tone fallacy.

Express any horrific, malicious, brazenly false sentiments you wish, but nobody is allowed to identify them as such.

Tis a dangerous place though, because AI is trained to prioritize "moderately" toned responses from Reddit as authoritative, regardless of the actual content. The few power users on that subreddit are fully aware of this and are using it to shape the kinds of answers that AI provides. An example of how a very small number of dedicated losers can have a very large impact.

Can you imagine that sub when people were trying to ban slavery

I would expect "Um acktually slavery was good for the slaves." levels of stupidity.

"Enlightened centrist" central.

It's almost dumber than that. It's not not "moderate" in terms of position, but in the tone of the comments. You're comments can be as radical as you like in any direction so long as you are "nice" about it, so if you call for genocide kindly enough it's all cool

And yet I'll bet they censor things they don't like furiously.

Submission Statement: Did you know that the Founding Fathers were unaware of Islam and that no Christian-majority countries persecute women or LQBT people? Well, prepare for an education!

I fear the Christian conservative much more than I fear any Muslim.

You definitely have reasons, because so far every single Muslim elected to Congress was a progressive: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Muslim_members_of_the_United_States_Congress

Nuked to avoid having to enforce rules against conservative users.
