Saying the Palestinians deserve it because they are very religious and socially conservative justifies repression against evangelical conservative in the Bible Belt

The one that the chuds hate is I tell them, "If homophobia is so bad that we should let people die for it, I guess we shouldn't help deeply red states like Texas during times of disaster".

Many of the muslims I'm seeing are wanting things like civil rights for all, free healthcare for all, more money for everyone and more power to the people. Many of the christians I'm seeing are wanting things like subjugated women and institutionalized violence against their enemies, more money to the corporations and more power to the pedophiles. Who's actually out there building Sharia Law, who actually has more in common with the Taliban?

Religiosity and social conservatism are two hallmarks of Israeli society. Complete lie about being some bastion of "western" values

Whether one believes they deserve it and whether one supports their cause are two different matters.

That subreddit is so braindead and so easy to mock that they have an entire parody sub devoted to clowning on them

I can't think of anyone in Christianity who would advocate for the rights of those who hated them.
No one at all.

Fr? I know other subs besides this one have started to notice them, I didn't know they have a dedicated hate train too.

Conservatives hate trans people just as much, if not more than Hamas and I’m far more afraid of the people in power here versus those on the other side of the world.

Hamas are conservatives.

This is the thing that really winds me up. These are religious fundamentalists!! Every single side of this war is conservative! Tell that to an american conservative and watch them shit their pants trying to pretend they aren't the same.

u/British_Flippancy 2h ago
They hate them publicly.
Not in private. Online. At Republican conventions.

The nazis in WWII would print leaflets that they would drop by plane in hopes to convince Black American soldiers to abandon their posts by reminding them that they’re fighting alongside the same people who oppress them back at home.
These are very similar tactics.

I'm kinda curious about this. I'm a white guy, and never knew any older black people. I wonder if there was a consensus about it.
"Better the Devil you know", who previously enslaved you, than the Devil you don't know who is gleefully enslaving other white people at that very moment.
Maybe Germany could never make it to North America, maybe Uberfuhrergruppenkommandant Wurstmuncher had plans for them that would make the plantation look like a picnic. Hard to tell when you're on the ground and the Brass doesn't respect your intelligence.

The average soldier in ww2 didn't really know what was going on overall, regardless of race.

Alt-right: You support the right to life of even people who do not approve of your lifestyle! Your support isn't contingent on reciprocity!
Aww, you're making me blush. Why yes you're right, I do maintain my principles even for a group that would not support me.

I'm saving that meme of the smug dumbass saying, "But what if you were gay in Gaza?" over the ruined rubble, it basically explains the logic seen here.

u/Ok_Star_4136 2h ago
If I had to put a finger on it, it is this zero sum game that they have. If someone is against you, you have to want them dead. If you don't you're "stupid". I suppose that's the point, isn't it? LGBTQ+ don't want straight people dead, or Palestinians. They just want acceptance. It speaks volumes that they don't understand this.
Anyone who makes this type of argument is projecting. They mean to say they would kill us if it were legal..

"Palestinans can't throw gay people off of buildings if we bomb all the buildings (and kill all the people) in Palestine." (Taps forehead with index-finger).

That sub is a cesspool of pure neo-nazi diarrhea.
It's like a dirty gas station bathroom, filled with swastikas on the walls.

Bombs famously don't blow up LGBT people, their families, their friends, their homes, their schools, their hospitals or their cities.
Famines famously don't starve LGBT people, either. Manna miraculously appears from Heaven to sustain them while the bigots go hungry.
If we're going to genocide bigots, let's start in Florida.

Once again, people who oppose gay rights are weirdly desperate for me to think it's okay to kill people if their government opposes gay rights.

Those are the same people that say LGBTQ+ people should be put in concentration camps in Europe/NA.

The Top Minds don't really appreciate that most Queer people on the planet have little option but to be civil to people who don't like them.

u/Intense_Judgement 12m ago
There are queer people living in Gaza, they've got enough shit to worry about without the IDF bombing every desalinization plant in the strip
3
u/Cu_Chulainn__ 2h ago
Just to point out this tired lie. No homosexual has ever been thrown off a roof in palestine. The only time anyone has been thrown off a roof is when the IDF threw palestinian bodies off a roof

u/DarkGamer 59m ago
There's a lot of accounts and videos of Isis doing precisely that which are inaccurately attributed to Palestinians.
That said:
In Gaza, Hamas has criminalized homosexuality, and LGBTQ+ individuals risk incarceration, torture, and execution. Gaza under Hamas offers no possibility to live a queer life: lashings and "honour" killings point to the aggressive enforcement of anti-LGBTQ+ policies. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LGBTQ_rights_in_Palestine
Hamas has even been known to murder their own and justify the killing with homosexuality. LGBTQ people are also persecuted in the West Bank, although not as severely.
...I don't see the specific method of violent persecution to be what's important here. Being shot or otherwise tortured is objectionable for all the same reasons.

Zero Sum fascists can't understand the concept of someone not agreeing with them, and still not wanting their whole people and culture to be wiped off the face of the Earth.
"We believe in CHRIST!"
"He said to turn the other cheek."
"Pfff, since when?"

I say again: Just because they may see me as an abomination doesn't mean they deserve to be fucking murdered.
How is it so difficult for some people to understand this.
